I don't exactly know where i can post the current topic of mine so i'll just post it here. Mods feel free to move this thread to any appropriate places.

Just wanted to find out are there any reasonable places for me to take the CCNA course around PJ or KL area. I was thinking of taking the course in Sunway College.. Is the course there good?

www.seeklearning.com.au offers online casual learning... then you just locate a test centre near you to take your exam smile.gif

Whole training cost about rm2500 including test if im not mistaken.

How about study ownself and pay just for the test ?

Is it real tough to solo study ? unsure.gif

You can actually do self-studying. It helps if your current job/work actually deals with Cisco devices. Just something to share, you will deal more with routers and WAN technologies (EIGRP, RIP, etc.) for the CCNA :-)

The CCNA track is now made easier ... you can actually earn a more 'entry' certification with the CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician) if memory serves me well.

The CCNA is divided into two ... ICND part 1 and part 2. If you pass part 1, you are already a CCENT :-).
amrich
what is the current version of CCNA exam..
halsanf
No need to attend the course because it is very expensive. Better you do self-study and do some practical to improve your understanding.

Hehehee... I have finished 50% of CCNA self-study and expecting to take the exam by August. Wish me luck!

@patrcik

How much is the total payment+exam ? And how the payment method ?
brian12988
below RM3k...at APIIT anyway...the fees for CCNA is like RM2300( dun really remember coz students get 30% off) and the exam is USD150..below RM500..(and have to pay online using credit card)...

and lecturer is ok...if it is an Indian (from India)...he is a manager of an new ISP and was looking for ppl to work for him at that time..so he asked us if we needed a job..
