Can someone please point me some links where I can read up on how to use a flash meter and what is is all about? I am totally new to photography technic and would like to understand what a flash meter is & how to reduce a shadow & what is flash bounce... will tell me as far as camera settings etc...

and also...

I am looking at the 430ex or 580ex...
does anyone have personal experience with these type of flashes.

still learning how to use my 580 EX II, 430 EX is the lower end and the 580 EX is the higher end, only 580 EX can be use trigger other canon flash for wireless flash
