Upcoming phones such as W760 and the C702 will have GPS, as far as I know.

And the GPS Enabler costs around RM399 at Ericserv. Just asked shan about it yesterday.

Google Maps - available for J2ME tongue.gif
G-Izzat
Google Maps are not that accurate. Plus, it's going to charge you a lot unless you have unlimited 3G or something like that.

So far only phone with Symbian or Windows Mobile can install the GPS program. As for the phone model that TS mention, it cannot installl the program. I believe those phone model mentioned by TS need Java program to run and I haven't seen any Java based GPS program.
Seaedge
google map is the only java based program if i am not mistaken...
angelayen
how about wayfinder?

I install this application not so much as GPS device on my phone but rather as mobile map. Just go and download mobile GMaps ( Java software )and install in your phone Here and go here to map out the area of google map you want to download and it will create a .map file. Go herehere to download Gmapmaker and download the cache file of google map. If you want more detail the file can go up to level 17 and the cache file for KL alone is about 200+ mb. With this you can have a FREE mobile map and possibly GPS without having to access GPRS data for map cache.

wow..200MB++ ? Can feature phone load in such huge map file?
cy97
Well i believe there is no problem as i have 400 mb cache for KL alone and i m using motorola ming a1200.. ( the cache taken almost 80% of my 1g micro sd card ) The only thing is you must transfer the cache file using usb card reader rather as it also takes a while if you use usb 1.0 device.

It is not difficult to create your own cache file. Just customise yourself better...Here is some screenshot..
