How I can know whether my windows is original or not?

update it...if u got those windows genuine validation...then its fake

In the windows no place to check? must update first? If not original will microsoft block after update right ?

right click my computer.choose properties.under General tab...if you can see the serial num xxxxx-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxx then its original.beside that...if your win is original....there a sticker label attach to your pc casing.this the few simple way to know if your window is ori.beside download the genuine advantage notification tool from microsoft website

Hi Webbie, If I am using the pirate winxp, the serial number is 55274-640-3838562-23451, can I turn it to original by keyin the original serial number(serial from another pc)?

go there. use the web browser's active-x validation tool. if you pass thru, it's genuine, if not then it's pirated.
