im using easyphp1.8 now, but there is no md5 in phpmyadmin
the latest 1 2.1b iinm, did try to install it b4, screw up my php code. when wanna revert back to 1.8, it said the port it occupied

Try using daemons software since that file is a .iso file

i read an article bout using daemons too.. i installed and tried to open but failed... problem is i cant open the extract the rar file.. it'll jump to the next then i cant open any file in it at all so daemon no use for now...

this means that your single ISO file is split into 14 part in RAR format.
right click on the first rar file called <whatever gundam blablabla> 01of14 and select extract from winrar. once the extraction is done, you will find a ISO file called <whatever gundam blablabla>.iso file in your folder. Load this ISO file with deamon tools or burn it out to a CD/DVD whatever.

yes, i did tat according to one of the articles i've found... problem is the stupid file cant be extracted at all... no .iso file appears... i think i'll just 4get it, might be corrupted file..

i have a .iso file which is 4.9GB... is there ways to fit the file into a blank DVD+R?
if not can i split the files into 2 without extracting it so that im able to burn it into 2 DVD+R?

Hmm, I'm also facing with this kind of problem. Recently I've downloaded Windows XP 9 in 1 CD (700 MB), when I mounted it on a virtual drive, it became 4gb++, so basically you can burn 4gb++ on a CD-R, which is great! I tried magiciso to compress dvd9 movie to dvd5 (so we can achieve dvd9 quality in dvd5 disc) but the differences between the original iso and the compressed uif is just 200mb.

I've also tried kgb archiver, so far I've never achieve 1 gb -> 5mb, not much differences between compressed kgb archive and original data. Ughh.

so is it possible to extract the iso file and compress it back so that the file size will be smaller?

solution? get a dual-layer single-sided DVD-R/RW (7.95Gb onwards). if you don't know what the difference is or if your writer supports it, go to the hardware Q&A corner.

i thought the max capacity is 4.5gb?? although the written capacity is 4.7gb...

you have email address 'jotted' down in word, excel and notepad. you want a system to extract the emails from these different file formats, compare them and organize them for you? sorry, no such thing as magic.

just copy the address from doc and notepad and paste them into excel then do a sort/pivot table to sort thru the duplicates. then with this new clean list in excel format, add them to your personal address book (windows) or outlook address book or whatever mail client you're using.

just reformat pc, using winXP, already online update everything, now having this problem:
before this when other pc remote desktop to my pc, my id or current user will still be on, but now after done everything, when another user trying to remote desktop to my pc, current user which is me, need to log off first then the user can login, trying to set for multiuser to log into my pc at a time. thanks for reply

XP Pro only provides for one Terminal Services session. You need Windows Server for extra sessions.

Alternately, go online and google termsrv.dll patch for XP. Some people patched that to allow up to 3 sessions. I have that working on my desktop. Good luck.

whenever we defrag ouf partition, the data was moved right?
so wat happen if we are downloading sumtin at the same time to that partition for eg. torrent

nothing will happen.... defrag doesnt really actually move those files.... it just rearrange ur files but it will still be in the same place... but if u want the best possible result stop all ur dl before u defrag but for me, i just defrag while i download...

im couldnt find answer for this so i'll ask here i guess. is it normal that the computer make a irritating sound when i mount an ISO and play the game using the image and not the disc? the noise sounded like harddisk kena scratch like that or something which makes me very uncomfortable..

where does the sound comes from?? from ur hard disk??
afaik ur hard disk shouldnt make any noise... if thats the case then ur hard disk may have problems....

i couldnt sure where the sound come from even i open my casing. there is a sound like when you try to scratch a cd using a sharp thing like that.

Hi, i would like to ask, if i mount an iso into a virtual drive using Alcohol120%, then i open my Nero, & then i copy the file from virtual drive to the Nero there burn, will there be any problem doing this , will i be facing any data loss in the process also ?

turn off simple file sharing
1. Click Start, and then click My Computer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab.
3. In the Advanced Settings section, clear the Use simple file sharing (Recommended) check box.
4. Click OK.


no problem. burning tips apply. eg. not too high speed, etc.

afaik a pc should make any noise unless from fans.... no matter what u do (playing games, watching movie and etc....) ur pc shouldnt make any noise and especially noise like u describe... scratching sound on a cd looks very serious for me and i think most probably its ur HDD coz my fren once have this sound and his pc always crash... and that sound is coming out from the HDD....

maybe its time to take ur HDD go RMA....

Use programs like CloneCD or MagicISO and you can make an image out of your Windows CD.

hope some of you can help me out here. This is my current environment :

- 3 user accounts (all admin level)

I would like to configure the desktop settings, folder settings, start menu customizations and everything else in one account and deploy the profile to the others so i don't need to repeat them all again 3 times.

How can i do this?

When a user logs on for the first time, Windows copies the settings from a default profile called, you guess it, "Default User profile" (located at Documents and Settings\Default User) to the newly created user profile. therefore the "Default User" profile is as a template which Windows uses in order to initialize new profiles/logins so logically, customizing this template would then automatically customize any default user profiles that logon based on it.

1. logon the comp with admin account then create a local user account which you wish to customize.
2. logon with this local user and customize the profile appropriately. eg, install printers, map the drives, customize settings bla bla.
3. Logoff this local user and login as admin and turn on the "Show hidden files" in folders option.
4. Replace the current default user profile with the customized default user profile by right clicking on "My Computer" then select "properties" then click on "Advance" tab and under "user profiles" select "Settings". In the "User Profiles" dialog box, click the local user profile that you just customized and click "Copy To". In the "Copy To" dialog box, under "Copy profile to", click "Browse" and browse to "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User" folder, and then click OK.
5. Windows XP will now assign the custom default user profile to any new user who logs on to the computer.

as usual, backup the original before doing any changes.

I have a laptop which previously using window xp
I bought a windows vista business and installed it

i have deleted old partitions and created new 1 during installation of vista business

However, i got this problem
when the laptop boot .. it will stop at a bios which shows a menu of

try going into ur bios and see is there a option to set ur boot option and then save and restart... its not much but hope it help as i never seen how is ur bios look like... ahaha

maybe u try going into ur bios and snap some pics and show us then maybe we can help and if u are doing that pls snap ur problem (the editing boot option thingy) too...
