I've noticed lately those celcom branch has been introducing this new modem Mi HSDPA wireless Internet data card. It's a HSDPA USB Device and produced locally. They did mention they no longer selling the huawei model, is that true?
Anyone using this modem and how was the performance?

Are you referring to the new Blue Cube HSDPA wireless modem which Celcom is selling for RM599 if you take up their Advanced Celcom BB package?
Looks like a good deal, the modem is not network locked and you don't need to sign up a long period contract like 2years(only 12months & get to buy it for RM599). Monthly subscription only RM98 minus taxes.
If you only want to use their RM68 package for 12 months, then the price of the modem would be RM699.
Just to highlight some interesting features of this modem:
The modem comes with drivers built-in into its flash memory, therefore you don't need to load any driver discs. But this makes it OS dependent with Microsoft XP and above.
It supports upto 7.2mbps HSDPA.
Go to Blue Cube specialty stores to find out more about it.

Mukah? It's not covered by HSDPA. Heck, even no 3G there, as Celcom 3G only covers Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri in Sarawak.
You're on GPRS there.
