If you have problems with XP as well, you probably need to fix the MBR... do some google.

Hi,

As what howszat said, after you remove your parition, you will not be able to boot to the windows anymore since the bootloader (eg: grub for ubuntu) has been removed. So in order to boot your windows like previous, you need start your windows installation cd and go to recovery console to fix the MBR.

I remembered I did this thing before long time ago, but if this is not working for you, maybe you can try the google to find out the solution. If your problem still cannot be solved, then only seek for help here.
