i'm using acer laptop, i don't know why my laptop sooo many virus unwanted..

i want to reformat my laptop.can you give me the step..

Well..1st go to ur lapiie bios press f12(normally) and then boot up your os cd..then later u will prompt to press any key to proceed to the setup page.Then in setup page juz follow the instruction and u can manage ur patition those things la.Then after that,you're done .

yup. but usually branded lappie or PC come with resourse or recovery CD. use it to reformat and recover ur PC / laptop

Yeap its the same as desktop pc

First u can insert Win CD when log on to windows.
Then choose to 'install' and follow its guide.

OR
In BIOS , set boot from cd.CD drive set as first drive.
After format, u will lost hardware driver. Acer resource cd got all needed driver.

Nowadays acer notebook dont comes with original installation of xp/vista.(Althought is original version)They juz comes with recovery disk..I prefer dell better.

Mostly the recovery disk inside was included os in that cd/dvd. Try boot up from ur recovery disk check it.

If yes, then just follow the step by step ... next, next, ok, ok .... etc.

i also bought acer lappy...from courts megastore...but dont even get the recovery disk.. Still can mintak from them aa? receipt still got...

acer dont give recovery dvd..u need to back up urself and recover ur OS from the back up..but cannot reformat..so bad for acer user..

lesson:next time dun get from retailer like them.they no provide software support.
and for
TS...what acer laptop model u r using?if u know how to format a desktop...it exactly the same.change bios boot drive...then folow on screen.after that install the driver(from the resource cd tat tag along with every purchase)...and if ur notebook is come with preinstall OS...then.....at the 1st place u need to make a recovery disc from it(using empower technology,choose recovery disc creator program)...then the other step is same...bot from cd n folow the instructions.it wil recover ur lappy back to its factory default seting.
