Hi guys..

I formatted my comp .. And i just finished a work on AfterEffects .. And when I tried to "Export" it out to Quicktime , or issit AVI .. I looked thru the compressor list and realized that quite alot of compressors are gone!!

Like the Sorenson compressor .. XVid , etc .. All gone, how come??

Any idea how I can get them back?

Does it have something to do with my video codecs ..? Hope somebody can help me

hi bro... for sorensson compressor u need to re-install back ae software... coz it's come with ae software package... for xvid,avid or etc you need to download and install it back...

Those are separate codec packs, you need to get them separately.

UPDATE : I reinstalled Quicktime (because Sorenson video compressor is from Quicktime right?) AND also AfterEffects ..

The "Sorenson" Compressor for Quicktime video in AE is still not there..

Sigh.

Somebody please help..

try reinstall back coz some pirate software got bugs... basically i try to re-install AE software if my default codec are missing...
try to search www.download.com and search for the codec... or pm me your email so i can forward the installer...

But I got it fixed at last.. The problem laid in the damn Quicktime player!!

Since I installed the LATEST quicktime player, the damned latest version of the Quicktime player didn't come like with the Sorenson as the top codecs or something like that .. So I had to activate it ..

So, to cut it short.. If any of you are using the OLDER version of Quicktime player.. Please keep the SETUP file for it!!

Don't need to download the latest Quicktime player, or update your quicktime player.. Latest version of Quicktime Player banyak problem for us who use video editing softwares.

ya same to me la.. coz i updates my Quicktime Player latest version got same problm to my avid xpress pro..

i'm prefer to used avid codec coz its very lite and still in high quality better than sorensson video...

Is "Avid" codec/compressor a built-in compressor from Avid Xpress Pro ?
