thanks.but i hope there's no need to goes further.let alone lodging a police report took 3 hours to complete (1 hour in police station; another 2 hours stuck in Commercial Crime Unit). The next day have to buy the report. hv to digging up evidence sumore. bank statement lagi...hv to w8 1 week. soooooo....many many many troubles.

dont be rash and go to the police station, TS. Avengers88, why dont u just issue another receipt and send to the buyer, and make sure u have evidence that u sent it. Registered post easiest(this means the buyer has no reason to cause an issue). Sometimes to be fair to the seller, buyers can be a pain in the butt too.
And to the others, either post something wothwhile, or just keep your traps shut.

You should have kept the original and send the copy. Cause photocopied receipt is accepted also for warranty. Keep one copy yourself and also can fax for buyer.

from his words in previous post, he did send the receipt, but using normal postage. i doubt he photocopy it...no picture on the receipt too. so, the problem lies here, no prove on sending out the receipt, and no prove he got the receipt on hand.

I think avengers88 need to be awarded with dispute tag. Seems like he didn't care about your case.
It's his fault about the receipt, and he should go and make other copy of the receipt, not TS.
I think he didn't post the receipt coz the receipt has gone missing, that's why he use normal postage 30 sen

We would need more details on what happened and what are the items involved. We can try to help you out in identifying any items that was sold from our storefront so long if there is a valid serial number. I cannot go into detail as we do not have the necessary information on what was sold to you.
Team C-Zone will honor anything that is valid and sold regardless who ends up with the goods. We understand that there are times products change hands as frequent as us changing cloths ( unless hobos who don't even bother to take shower ) and we have the responsibility of honoring them so long we can trace the product to our database.
This is how it can be done. Almost every product that goes out of our shelves carry a serial number.
1. If it's there on our system, then it's confirmed.
2. But if it isn't, we would usually ask for a proof of purchase and double check it with our original purchase invoice.
As retailers, we have also gone through our fair share of scams where people slap us with so called " sold by c-zone but cannot remember who, where or when and best of all no receipt and items which indeed does not belong to us ". That was when we implemented our bar coding system which frankly made the accountant jaw's drop when they found out how much it cost's us.
That's all that we can comment as we can only offer our assistance in this matter but we cannot guarantee the outcome. Let me know when you're dropping by and let me see what i can do for you. We could have helped you earlier but I just received your urgent pm with a link to this thread nothing more than that. So it was quite puzzling at first with bits and pieces here and there but I managed to get your idea.
No offense lar but a simple pm to me saying " can you be of some assistance " would have been a better starter for your pm cos i was damm blur of all the sudden just a link and nothing more in " trade dispute " and I was pretty shocked as i have never actually traded in garage sales

So, the conclusion of my discussion with bro scooticus:
01. it is possible to claim warranty form C-Zone even without receipt, but certain rules must be followed.
--> first, the item(s) must bought from C-Zone
--> 2nd, the item(s) must hv special serial number given by C-Zone.
--> 3rd, the serial number must be recognized by C-Zone system, for it's warranty to be valid.
02. the item(s) mentioned in 1), by cook or by crook must be brought over to C-Zone for inspection.

Not to add more fire into the flame but, avengers88 is an irresponsible reseller.
3 of his Crucial Ballistix / Crucial Ballistix Tracer ram buyers came to me when it came to RMA.
They said avengers88 never replied their PM, SMS, Calls or Email when they want to RMA the rams that they bought from avengers88.
avengers88, don't even try saying that I am accusing you. Because if you go anywhere near there, I will personally call all 3 of them to make their statement about you in here.
You want to be a reseller, be a responsible reseller. When your buyer ask for RMA, entertain their RMA, don't run away.
Handling RMA is a real PITA, but as a reseller, it's your job to do it no matter how problematic it is.
More points on avengers88:
avengers88 is so lazy, last time, he copied 100% from my Crucial sales thread.
All he change is his full name, contact number and banking details.
Yes offcourse now there's a lot of differences, but the point is there, which proves his irresponsible act from handling RMA to creating his own sales thread.
