For the C902, you pull the top part to use the camera.. neat.

I like the C702 design.. its different from current SE design.

rclxms.gif rclxms.gif Another good design from SE, "Splash and dust resistant" on CyberShot C Series
dragna
I think the C702 has a better design and solid outlook as the next Cybershot phone, the C902 looks very fragile and more designed focus towards the W series.
squall_kay
both are nice...i like c902 more drool.gif
c series new series izit? c = cybershot??
youngkies

Thats why i said the C702 is the best design for the Cybershot series since it's Splash and Dust resistance and it does look like a Japanese design too.

dragna
I don't think C902 has any resistance smile.gif
panasonic88
the C Cybershot series reminds me of the old Motorola C series, which cater for lower-entry models sweat.gif

C902...OK la...the design has nothing to shout about.
LawdRetep
It SHOULD be better than K850i's camera no? D:
dragna
This we do not know yet, but 1 thing's for sure that it's using LED flash.
N33d
oH f***
SE is using their infamous joystick to replace dpad?
are they crazy? i just started to like this phone till i saw the joystick!
phoenix
Anyone can confirm whether does the C902 has GPS? Cause the website only says C702 has GPS and while C902 didn't state.
squall_kay
wonder why they never put xenon to both of these phones...c = cybershot what..so should hv xenon unless they still reserve the best camera for k-series

I don't know why did SE come out with C series when the K has already clearly taken the Cyber-Shot title for quite some period.
squall_kay
yeah...i oso quite confused witth the new series line-up...so C shud be Cybershot...G = business phone?? x1 = pocket pc?
if cybershot for c series..so what will be main highlight for k series? hmm.gif
is there any new K or p series?
dragna
Probably nothing for the K and P series for the first quarter of 2008 due to the releases of the X,G and C series.
squall_kay
OOoOoo..yeah maybe...or perhaps for marketing purpose they reconstruct their series line-up n abondoned those k n p series?who knows...haha...
nway hope this new phone come at the right price... tongue.gif

there'll be K820. That will blow everyone off. I saw it myself already

I thought the K820 was the name for the C902 before it was announced?

Yeah it's even stated at the unofficial SE blog that the K820 has been renamed to the C902.
squall_kay
so if thats the case..k820 < k850..thus k820 = c902...so, c902 not as good as k850 except it is slimmer...
dragna
If i would say, the C series would be the entry model for the Cyber-Shot series unless SE plans to turn it the other way and take down the K.
squall_kay
now all this new line up make us more confusing...haha...
G-Izzat
I'm still wondering whether these phones will have xenon or what because I just checked the Sony ericsson website and I found this.

QUOTE
Light when you need it

Throw a little light on the subject with xenon flash. It emits a burst of high-intensity light at just the right moment, allowing you to shoot well-lit pictures indoors or in low-light conditions.
squall_kay
i found this from SE web

QUOTE
Photo light
When lighting conditions are poor, your picture can still be good.

maybe we should wait for any preview (like gsmarena preview)...hoho
dragna
Yeah i would like to know what Photo Light is, something new from SE?
