G900i is cool. Wondering will be the camera quality as good as N95/N82

G700i is just a 3.2MP phone with touch screen. I rather choose N73.

G700i - 3.2MP but without AF, that is a little wasted.

If not because of my friend asked me to join him for 'minum petang', I probably have W960i in my hand right now. It was pain enough to wait for W960i to arrive in Malaysia. But now it seems that I'll have to wait for God knows how long it will take for G900 to arrive.
^^ I'm thinking to buy G900 instead of W960i

The P series will still continue. It won't end just like that.

Probably like the X1 but uses UIQ3.2 or maybe UIQ4 (which has not been announced yet).

I think the G series will be a Symbian UIQ phone with a D-pad while the P series will be the one with the scroll wheel.

G900 having quite complete features that could fullfill most of the current market's customers compare to X1 except for the outstanding design of X1 n HSDPA....
G900 is based on Symbian while X1 based on Windows Mobile....

the g900 look more simple than x1 n the real advantage of g900 lay on its camera..SE targets to make the UIQ device not for high end market only but for mass users..aside from the camera, the X1 will give more benefits in addition its stunning looks factor, again, price factor will come into play...thus perhaps most users will choose g900 over the x1

the design looks old and dying. but maybe some consumer will still prefer these phone design, added with the stylus touch screen display.
btw, maybe these phones are designed to appeal conventional users. nokia also already introduced new phones with old look and feel on the design (but not the OS itself). maybe this kind of market is what SE is venturing into.

The FCC has a lot of power. They determine what goodies are a-okay for the American market and which are probably not so nice. Thankfully for any Sony Ericsson fans in the audience, the FCC has given the go-ahead to the Sony Ericsson G700. That stamp of approval must feel pretty nice.
As you may recall, the G700 comes equipped with a 2.4-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and the ability to jot down notes right on the screen and save it on the digital sticky pad. The included stylus comes in pretty handy for this purpose. In terms of radios, you get tri-band GSM as well as single-band UMTS, though the latter was 2100MHz only the last time we heard. That might change for America-friendliness.
Will the Sony Ericsson G700 arrive at AT&T or T-Mobile any time soon? Maybe. At least it has the FCC thing out of the way.

Cybershot just a name.
IMO, the G900 cam/software will be more stronger than C902.
