well, i would suggest getting ur level of metabolism up in order to increase your capability of burning fat.
to do that, you need to be dedicated in exercise such as jogging (cardiovascular workout). google the term to know what um talking about.
keep at it, and in a month or so you'll be seeing some result.
to increase the effectiveness, control what you eat. i find that doing sit-up2 regularly makes my abs quite hard - and i'll easily lose appetite after eating a certain amount of food. i guess it's like wearing a corset. hurm...
neway, im telling you this based on experience. dont expect anything in short term. be patient and keep at it - you'll be glad you did.
heard before this that if eat spice food can increase the metabolism in our body..is it true..?
any other food that we eat the can increase our metabolism..?

well, i started on a diet since jan where i limit my carbs intake and started eating more proteins and vegetables. tht means no rice, noodles, bread, biscuits etc. also try to avoid potatoes, carrots and parsnips as they are high in starch. i know it sounds extreme, but after the first week, ur body wud have adjusted to the no-carb diet and u wud be back to ur cheerful self in no time! plus u have to exercise regularly, so what i try to do is to go for a morning run or an evening run. i feel running in the evening is better as i sweat more, but its my own opinion. u also have to do weight training. i got sum weight training routines from men's health mag and so far, it hasnt disappointed. also, no sweet drink, junk food and products which basically contain high amounts of sugar. and try to drink as much water as possible. the verdict? so far i've lost 10 kgs and i've also become more buff due to weight training. just my 2 cents, its ur call! and even if u cheat once in a while, dun be disheartened. it happens to everyone, so just continue the diet.

30% is for workout
70% is diet and ur mind.....be discipline

try regular meals...4 or 5 times a day....make it only a small portions thats it (sandwich, nuts...fruits, pasta, protein)
if possible, dun make ur stomach hungry, coz this will make ur body to save or keep supply incase of emergency(hungry)
when this case happens, ur body will store most of wat u eat, then turned them to fats...which is a no no
treat ur body well, ur body will reward u...
and try not to eat carb after 8pm...try fruits for supper , or milk, yoghurt
and remember to do it because it fun...

The only time i would advise people against drinking water is when they have congestive cardiac failure. If you can't give an intelligent response, don't post at all.

Just so share some experience here, for me i jz started work out recently:
Breakfast - 2pcs half boiled egg + oak milk
Pre- lunch - some biscuit (2-3pcs)
Lunch - less rice + chicken + vegetable + taofoo
tea time - raisin, nut (just not to give myself hungry)
Dinner - fruit + yogurt
Supper - DONT EVER THINK SUPPER
Work out after work 7pm~9pm+
(5 times a week, slack 2 days normally weekend or friday night <-- happy hour mar)
Results --> i lose 3.5kg in 2 weeks time, you guys can try it.... remember this wont help for every one but no harm to try. Although i am still long way to reach my idea weight, but i will keep up !!!
** Self motivation needed guys, good luck every one **
