i plan to buy this 22" monitor for my future PS3 and current rig (see my sig)
i find out this LCD only got VGA and HDMI input (WTF. .dun have DVI )



if HDMI + DVI perfect already la. ..
i got some noob question
hope some sifu here can help

1. if using DVI to HDMI then connect to tis LCD, can it work perfectly?

2. IN CASE my 88GT 1GB canot use DVI to HDMI then i have to use DVI to VGA
will it lost some eye candy compare to DVI to DVI

3. Any user of tis LCD also can voice their opinion

1. sure .. would would just need a hdmi to dvi cable/converter... they just switch pins...

2. dvi to vga.. is only a by-pass connector... analog vga signal straight from your gc... essentially same as vga out of lower end cards (8500 for example). ...redundant.. since the answer to the 1st question is yes...

maybe you can consider the cheap TN 24inch 1980x1200 panels or the more expensive ips or s-pva for full 1080p res un-scaled...support

buy ur self a hdmi to dvi cable...rm79...else get a hdmi cable and buy a dvi to hdmi cable.

use tis LCD for PS3 and computer as well. .

Looks fine to me with my pc (I do not know how it's gonna be with a PS3). Sorry I can't comment more on the technical part. Other than the cable hiccup, all is well... You might wanna get an expert view or read a lot of review site and compare it with the Samsung model.

this HP 22 incher baby is the best looking LCD monitor atm., imho. nice

at my place RM1080..wtf..cheaper at sri comp a few month back..

i would highly recommend 2208 with dvi, vga and hdmi port, which save your hassle.

Unless you are pairing with a console, elses i would think hdmi is not mandatory. Since you would use audio channel elsewhere rather than the better not to have speaker on it.

I have 2207 which i am quite satisfied, good color, can be tilt, height adjustable, and cool glossy black finishing. Best image quality to my taste among other lcd like dell 1908 and samsung 207bw which i place side by side comparison.
