I think there are 2 vpn servers. One for the clan practice and one more for public. The public one isn't locked Edison.

My update 70% so long and I'm downloading with 40-50kb/s speed. What the hell is it that is taking them so long?

I finish mine in less than 20 mins...Maybe U should restart your connection/router. Stimyx's IP now sux big time

Restarted it twice and getting the same speed, 30-50kb/s. Now crawled from 70% to 80% 2 hours time. Goddammit! I can't play TF2 the whole day and its killing me! I've been fantasizing it since 6.30am when I woke up for school!

i had a feeling the pyro was going to get nerfed, especially the falloff. as one of hte few people who didnt get infected with pyro fever when the pack was released, i felt first hand the overpowering nature of the flamethrower.

Basically the further you are from the target, the flame does less damage. In the previous pyro pack patch they made the pyro flame make normal damage regardless of range(the tip of the flame did full damage).

its the stremyx prob. try resetting the modem and oso try restarting the computer. this might help

if it doesn't ROLC! roll on the floor crying...nothing much you can do until streamyx fix their problems.

Ah, I thought that was an intended feature of the pyro. Hence one of the tip says as a pyro, the nearer you are, the greater damage you deal. But yeah, I did notice that pyros kill much easily after the pyro pack update. But again, I do enjoy it Well, at least it's not that extreme now...or so Valve claims

pyros r superior if:

pyro + medic = Superior

lol yeah CsG. according to them the max falloff before the pyro pack was 25% damage at fire edge. then, at the pack they removed teh falloff, therefore damage is 100% at fire edge. and now they're reintroducing it again. they should have just skipped step 2 and gone passed the ???? step and just increased the falloff from 25% to some tested and proven number. good thing for them they got steam for updating purposes.

i prefer medic + heavy though

good against break through enemy defence
i got more point uber heavy than pyro though (if not for the ahievement - uber pyro and get 5 kill -)
