haha. i used to use that statbar when i played eclub often, but after they started sucking i was just like "meh" and didnt bother anymore. havent tried the new servers yet though, so we'll wait and see.

Guys! I played in a SCOUT jump map earlier this afternoon. It was bloody frustratingly FUN! Those interested, can get the map here.

cause there are 2 likely culprits to your problem. one would be that valve changed/updated something, and it needs more graphical processing power to get it right, or your laptop might be overheating a little and is compensating by downclocking your system in some way.
both these problems were encountered by a friend of mine, the gpu processing one when valve made some changes to the way the teleport trails were processed, and the overheating one which was solved by taking apart his laptop, and servicing the cpu heatsink while generally cleaning the inside of dust and whatnot. once that was done it was smooth sailing all the way

Hmm, yep it's quite possible due to the GPU downclocking when it reaches a certain temperature. But then usually people report a big drop in FPS, and not freezing

Err, 9500M GS is a G84. Ouch. They have a problem with manufacturing which causes the GPU ball "bonds" to disengage and the whole GPU core gets loose.
Try running ATITool and scan for artifacts.
If it crashes, time for an RMA.

Are you using 64bit or 32bit OS? Some games tend to crash when using 4GB of ram in 32bit OS as the game tries to access the upper address allocated unit that is cordoned off by the OS
OK i tried 2 run ATitools 2 scan but it dosent allow me 2. I am using 32 Bit Home Premium. Be4 dun haf this problem 1.

You see, just now I managed to get 6 achievements for the medic in TF2.
Then when I quit, some pop up told me that Hl.exe stopped working.
Then when I logged back in, all the 6 achievements i painstakingly earned just now was gone.
And that stupid pop up comes out almost everytime when I exit.
Am I the only one experiencing this?

are using Windows Vista? Cos I have the same problem as u but my achievements was not gone. It's still there. Maybe Windows or driver issues like zonan says.

I think what they were trying to say is that the script they wanted to use was too similar to movies and not original enough, so they decided to scrap it.
So left without a script, they decided to go impromptu and do nonsense. lol

The Singapore servers are actually slower than Japan servers. I can manually add E-Club servers which are ok, but no one playing...

Since BolehVPN is down 4 life, we're sort of left out. Even the Kiasulanders are laughing their arses out at us.

Will never be able to complete any of the classes due to the fact my achievements are suffering from frequent rollbacks.

Haven't TF2'ed for quite a while now. Most probably will jump in tonight. I dont recall seeing such bad ping. Here is mine with 60.49 IP
Make sure you are connected on a good IP.

Yeah the problem is that most people they jump into a server with 20 peeps...so all see starhub they jump in...they dont go into a server that has less people. So its a catch 22 situation. A hard trend to break. Unless got a dedicated group of people...like your group
who plan to join an empty server at a particular time. I think thats the only way you can encourage people to join these servers...

I understand Jap and I played with them, a lot more fun! Local are just a bit quiet sometimes.
