Im a player from South Africa and was hoping that u guys would like to play us sometime. I played a couple of games on your e-club malasia servers and it was fun.The only reason why im asking is that the people here is getting very predictable and we need to play new people to keep the game alive. I think just to make it fair we should play 2 maps on your servers and then 2 maps on our servers.What is ure guys thought on this would u be intrested.

i was playing with a 250 ping on ure server and it didnt realy feel that way that was with full server if its 6 vs 6 it would be betetr but keep in mind i only or mostly of the peopel have only 384k and 512k lines if u play on our servers with ure 1 meg or 4 meg lines it will def be under 150 for sure.

I have the same CPU and the same RAM, but my video card is older than the one you have. I run TF2 with pretty much top settings without any trouble, so your computer will run TF2 perfectly fine.

Although technically we have 1meg broadband, we don't actually get that speed... We're closer to 512k and often lower than that. We all hate our ISP here.

Nyways the SGS servers are still up but we have 4 dedicated servers now which we use for clannys..
So it would be more stable then

My processor is same as yours. 1GB RAM and Geforce 7600GT 256MB. Slow loading, but smooth gameplay with an average of 20+ FPS. Yous can definitely play it smoother than mine.

I'm back home in Singapore. We weren't delayed or anything, though we did feel a slight tremor while on the way back from Berastagi. Fruits rolled off the roadside stalls and some were shaken off their motorbikes, but other than that, we are okay. Holy crap TF2 is 20 USD now on steam! I think i might get it.....how much hard disk space does it need for the download and install...and can i install in a custom directory? really low on disk space...

I don't think you can install in a custom folder, but I could be wrong... Why not just move or remove some things you don't use?

i know you could install the whole steam folder elsewhere, so therefore indirectly you change the whole location of the game files

bear in mind the drive letter of location HAS to the same all the time to avoid problems when running the game
means be carefull when you install to removable hard disk / ext hard disk, make sure it mounts back with the same drive letter

IC...too much hassle...My steam client is already installed on my C:\ I got 10GB spare in this partition...I suppose that would be enough for TF2 and space for my work(programming stuff).
