I have notice some INDIVIDUAL or EVEN SELLER who dunno how to safely sent out their item using postage, how to wrap up their item or how to do it. so hereby i attach some guide steps by steps to help them with photo.First of all, you need some tools.... mine a bit profesionnal lar... you can dont buy those stuff
below is my equipment.
[attachmentid=393816]
EXAMPLE;
Lets say you wanted to post out a bluetooth handsfree worth about rm180...
[attachmentid=393817]
you can see here in between it have a large gap...
[attachmentid=393818]
this is how i do it... use a unused cardboard to cover up the hole in between them like the pics above
[attachmentid=393819]
paste it nicely to cover up like the pics above
[attachmentid=393820]
wrap it up with newspaper to prevent the sender(posmen or courier serviceman) to see the content inside
[attachmentid=393823]
i personally use mahjong paper to wrap it
[attachmentid=393825]
wrap it up like above and it already look very nicely.
[attachmentid=393827]
you can already write the buyer/receiver address on it.
[attachmentid=393828]
you can seal the parcel with the celotape already
[attachmentid=393829]
Finally, fill in the poslaju form and its ready to sent out.
Below is for wrapping up some combine item
[attachmentid=394101]
Step 1 - use a box and put some newspaper on it, the put the item inside
[attachmentid=394102]
Step 2 - put another layer of paper on it
[attachmentid=394114]
Step 3 - close the box and celotape it to be fitted
[attachmentid=394115]
Step 4 - seal the box with celotape.. chicaman please take note here
(this is how to wrap)
[attachmentid=394117]
Step 5 - its done.
I would love to see that this thread is pinned for ALL LYN MEMBERS as a guide.

Very useful bro, u really put in a lot of effort to wrap ur item nicely before sending it out. Even use mahjong paper to wrap it. Btw, its a simple and efficient guide. Safely ship out the item.
thumbs up for the effort.

yellow/brown paper more economical than white paper
if several pieces, u have to stick it with cello tape to prevent it from moving around and damaging the packaging itself

ya, i know. but i prefer white color as its more easier for posman to see it more clearly so they wont see wrongly the address. btw, the price different is only very minimal. somemore, i buy 1 lot(250pcs). so its more cheaper...

It shows he dont really mind to pay extra for those mahjong paper haha. Giving out superb service is good. Really good to have seller like this in LYN. Better than those shop near my house giving shitty service. Unlike jack7155, if need anything he can special order from supplier despite only earn a few bucks.
Bro, it is good if u show us which part u celotape it.... and how to wrap.
P/S: I am guy, dono how to wrap properly lol

maybe you should find a long box that can fit the badminton racket with the bag. like the 2nd item that i wrapped up. insert some newspaper into it to prevent it from moving around.

I once sent a NDSL + box to Sarawak using PosLaju... I was so worried about their handling that I used a marker pen and wrote "FRAGILE" on all corners of the box (After wrapped with mahjong paper) and requested for their fragile sticker

Thankfully buyer received it safely

the most economic is ask from your friends/family/siblings for empty boxes like tissue box,biscuit box,milk powder box (hardcover), or when you buy something at accessories/gift shops,ask them for boxes, perhaps?

if soft cover,your product will easily broke le! handle with care!

use the RM 4 one.. there are bigger pos express boxes but they cost RM 6 & RM 7 (might as well use pos laju edi)
best if u wrap in a plastic bag first before putting into the envelope in case it gets wet. if you find that the envelope is too thick and you cant close it properly, better tape it close.
also, if u send things (non documents) regularly using pos express, you could just purchase a few envelopes to take home cos some workers will scold you for sending other stuff using pos express.
