Need help here. Recently my hostel block off usage of torrent so we can no longer use any of the torrent program. So i wonder is there anyway to "bypass" this problem? Cos i can use toonel to tunnel through and surf youtube, but things dun apply to my bitcomet, how?

To get router/gateway IP:

click [Start] > click "Run" > type: cmd > click [OK]
At the Command Prompt, enter: ipconfig /all
from the screen, you should be able to see your default gateway IP or your router IP.

from your posted snapshots, the last one may be you can apply a larger number of 100 ~ 256

just download the bitcomet 0.64
and do a bit of tweak
and you ready to go

the prob is that this beast sometimes can cause memory hogging
if need pass to extract = azim61

i did not understand what u want..what i understand are u want download torrent with torrent client... open with,find torrent client like bitcomet or uttorrent...done..

normally we click download link got appear one window right? got openwith, flashgot-bitcomet or another download programme then save file right? the prob is i just saw open with and save file option only.. there's no option for me to dl using other download prog.. u get wat im trying to say?

Right-click on the download link, then select "Download this with BitComet"

bcmax is fast. but do crash oftenly too.. i have several member's crashed their hdd when they use this so called bcmax (bitcomet 0.64). i don't know is it real or not. no offense ya

yep, just followed what yelsew said. patch the tcp/ip too 100 ~ 500 or higher than that, will allow more connection inbound (correct my if i am wrong).

My torrent speed to slow (0.1-3kbps). How to do port forwarding and tweak for Celcom 3G broadband? I'am using Huawei E220 modem.

Hey guys, do u feel any slowdown with Bitcomet today? I'm using Utorrent 1.8 and just starting from today my download speed is rarely above 15kb/s. Yesterday still can get 50kb/s average (using Streamyx 66 package)

Same here, I can't even get pass 5kb/s. Yesterday can reach max speed.

just to report back that my utorrent is up again, going full speed around 52kb/s averagely from yesterday's max 15kb/s

I think if you have the right configuration, then will not have any problem...

Even the speed issue also because of our ISP......

hey,wat should i do if the bitcomet affected the antivirus?yesterday i changed the TCP/IP ..then after few hours...my antivirus got prob.it stated "some protection malfunctioned"!i went to control panel n click on Windows Firewall..but it stated that windows cannot start firewall! and it also stated that "cannot connect to local host"..my modem internet light disappear..i cant made any connection...this morning i restore my pc back to previous day and the prob solved!so,wat`s wrong with my pc or the bitcomet setting?sometimes the firewall notification will warn me that>> "9/13/2008 5:08:17 PM

a 512kbps package...this morning my downloads was at 70kb! now its down to 10 again..damn

actually it depends on the number of seeders..
means if u really have a good connection but the number of seeders is low..so u cannot get the high speed
correct me if i m wrong

so far, i think the best p2p client is using paid p2p services as mention below.(from my signature)

want my bitcomet mode?juz pm me..maximum speed..etc:many seeder,speed will be increase...

i had a bad experience regarding BC.
whenever i on BC, it prompts me to change the tcpip half open limit. I read that i should "Set my 'New Half-Open Limit' higher than 10 (recommended >50)".. after done tat, and restart, my laptop cannot connect to internet or LAN anymore. Coz it canot create IP. i try to delete the tcpip.sys and rename the tcpip.sys.ORIGINAL but failed.
anyone can help? coz i think my BC should not be so slow.. there is always no seed for the torrent files. Im using MAxis broadband and BC version 1.00.

Are you using WindowXP Home Edition? Try to start your window in safe mode, then proceed to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers , rename the tcpip.sys.ORIGINAL to tcpip.sys. IT should helps.

I am experiencing slow download in bitcomet since tuesday night (16/09/2008). The maximum it can reach is only less than 10kb. Before this it can go up to 60kb (my streamyx package is 512mbps only).

When i look at the peers, i notice that i can only connect to remote peers. All the local peers including persistent seeds were not there. Dunno what's wrong.

Did anybody also facing this problem? Just want to find out whether this happen only on me. Thanks.
