I note that TM's routing today is totally fubar.

A 350 ms ping to local sites when it should be way below 100 ms.

Note that this is unrelated to VPN

its ok,my suscription ended today.but it was working perfectly,my download speed can reach up to 90kb/s+ from IPT torrent website. ,im gonna suscribe for 6 months package!will try and top-up on monday

For wow we have a beta service which seems to work for certain ppl but as its beta we aren't publicizing this service.

We are seeking ppl who understand what finding a good ip means

so the problem cannot be solve? as i can see that some people do use proxy to play wow but that doesn't seems too good. And recently to Twaiwan WOW is getting worst and worst...

The gaming thing can be solved but we are only releasing it to a few customers right now who know how to troubleshoot and things

just want to make sure, if i order vpn service from you, is that the services i have from can function it as well? or i have to get a special service from you? what do you mean release it for some, is that means the services they have "vpn" is not the same as the normal vpn we have?

Means that this WoW thing is unrelated from our VPN services.

It's a totally separate service which we are developing called BolehPing and uses a different set of technology.

We don't publicize it and only give it to customers who know about Streamyx IP ranges and routing as if you get a bad Streamyx IP range, no service can help you. We do this to prevent complaints that are not our problem actually but TM's issue. From our experience however, some people however will insist that our BolehPing product does not work and demand for refunds and scream at us. Hence, to avoid the headache involved, we make sure the users understand what they are getting into and situations where our service will work.

Most WoW ppl are aware of the good ip ranges they can get on to give them a decent ping. BolehPing can further lower this into the 300 ms range for US WoW. Even on bad IP ranges, in certain cases we have seen improvements that brought it into playable range. We have not tested it on Taiwan WoW but as the server is in a local DC, it should improve it as well but no guarantees.

We have completed a very major upgrade to our management server in the local datacenter, the server has been upgraded to Quad Core CPU, 500GB drive, 8GB ram and brandnew 64bit operating system to support better utilization of the resources.

It is now backed to normal but all passwords to users has been reset. This involves only bolehping users and bolehgame servers users, namely the COD4, TF2, Left4Dead and Counter Strikes servers, WoW users and MUD users. All other VPN servers in europe albeit streamyx routing issues are operating normally.

Due to intensive usage of bandwidth traffic to our US server, we are forced to offline the server until further notice. Replacement server will be made within the next 48 hours. The offline of this server will not have any effect due to sufficient servers we have at the moment.

Erm that's very unrealistic.

That's a big NO to that

Even with an unthrottled connection without VPN and a great line (for e.g. a singapore line), that is impossible.

It's a matter of

a) Seeder/Peer ratios (dude we're a VPN company not a miracle maker, of course we're subject to seeder/peer ratios, you can't expect if a torrent has one seed with only 15 kB/sec upload and a 2000 peers and expect to get 4 mbits? :/)
b) location (not that important as long as in Western countries)
c) IP is very important because of streamyx mess ups. However we provide different datacentres with different routing so u can try which one works best for you if you're not up for getting a new Streamyx ip range.

All these factors actually apply REGARDLESS whether you use VPN or not.
the only difference is that, right now, even if u meet all the above requirements, you'll still get a slow speed because of TM's throttle.
For us, we remove the throttle but we cannot help with the other factors which are beyond our control.

Anyone who tells u otherwise is a BIG FAT LIAR

Also remember that there's a different between megabits and megabytes and kilobits and kilobytes. There are 8 bits to a byte. So if you have a 512 connection you have to divide that by 8 and then take off 15% for PPPoE protocol and that's your highest theoretical speed.

115 is pretty good.
there's no IP that begins with 64 on Streamyx afaik.

Best to just get a good IP and stick with it!

Different datacentres might give you alternate routing that may or may not be good. it reduces the chances of routing issues.

All VPNs/Torrentflux/webui blahblah etc are subject to routing issues. This is not a fault of the VPN but TM's incompetence.
