i bought mine already from action mobile sunway, RM1299, no freebies. i didn't have time to go to KLCC last night so i just bought it even if it was RM100 more.

this is one beautiful piece of machine.

yup... i agree with your review... the omega wheel is a joy to use, including the haptic keypad.

video recording is still a measly 176x144 though, a higher resolution video capture size would have been better, but then again i bought this phone for music playback so it's a minor gripe for me.

mine came with only 1 theme. seems there are no download sites yet for e8 themes?

-is the cover on the back really loose??? (cuz i heard that it can be easily removed even when u dont want to open it)
-no hang problems??
-if i buy thiz phone at the end of july, how much do u think the price will drop??

1. u get phone, data cable, wired headset, pouch, cd and charger.. no memory since already came with 2gb built-in..
2. still can be scratch, can be 80% resistant.. also 80% splash resistant on the surface, do not let water go into the speaker..
3. u can press the dedicated key on front panel while music playing or in the home screen.. refer this Pic
4. cover not as loose as u thought
5. i cant control the price.. lol...

this should be a perfect music phone for u... do try it out at phone shop before purchase..

wmp11? when u use it to sync music to e8, its simple and better than normal drag and drop.. plus its include album art as well..

there will be a few road show for E8 in Msia soon... and it's a kinda big show of it.

but as for keypad, it's not THAT hard.. it is some sort of vibration when u pressed it because actually there is no keypad, it is just a piece of glass.. and after i used for about 2 months since march, i just love to sms.. maybe u can go to KLCC, normally they have demo unit installed at the display cabinet...

what time u came?? media launch is at 5pm till 7:30pm.. demo on e8 going on from 6pm to 7:30pm at 4 places, laundry, apartment, sanctuary and redbox.. so everything is over after that and dinner time till late night for drinking.. hehe..
