oledi tried my DKP35 today after got it from jy14 this evening biggrin.gif

been struggle to boot it up in the 1st place as no display come out on my monitor....oh $hit...not like my previous NF4 lanparty again sweat.gif sweat.gif

tried with different gcard..then it's finally boot biggrin.gif turn out my outdated 7300GT spoiled oledi...huhuhu...

thanks cstkl1 for assisting me on the phone biggrin.gif scared the mobo spoiled as i'm replacing the NB heatsink with MCW30..(that's how my NF4 lanparty died) laugh.gif

tomorrow will boot the system up fully when my HDD arrive laugh.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

prelimenary temp in the bios show 29c for e2140 on stocks speed / (Apogee GT) / NB Chipset 36c (MCW30) tongue.gif

eh guys...did u take off the white square rubber pad beneath the stock NB heatsink and reused it again beneath the new NB heatsink? unsure.gif i tried to peel it off but torn out in few places...then decide to leave it sweat.gif
overclockalbert
then better leave the white rubber pad even u change to new hs.
it works better and safer that way

yeah...better leave it there coz when u tighted up the water block, u tend to tight the screw as much as possible...so, the Rubber Man might save the day...

I tried HR05 IFX/SLI on this DK, performance almost same as U6, both without using fan.

at the bottom of the stock NB heatsink, rite?...noticed that one...and since the HR05 came with the rubber pad, never bother with that one...but yes, really important to have it there...

A little out of topic here... anyone experiencing problem with the ICH9R controller or the SATA cable? unsure.gif

At the moment, my rig is having this major problem: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/634995

So in the end, I ditched out the new Seagate 500GB HDD from my rig suspecting it's a faulty HDD. Windows installation with the old Samsung 120GB HDD is alright, till at just now I'm experiencing BSOD and in the latter mentioning something such as... Beginning physical dump. It mentioned if this is the first time I'm experiencing this problem, try restart... if problem persist... check new hardware installation... etc. etc. (I guess most of you know the content well smile.gif)

I tried to restart the system and it happen that the loading taking a long time at BIOS and latter disk error doh.gif. I thought my ram having the problem and thus going into BIOS again to set the RAM to 5-5-5-18 @ 1.8V. In my horror, the BIOS couldn't detect my HDD when I checked at the setting shocking.gif. I tried to restart and it remain hang at the DFI DK logo screen shakehead.gif. In the end, I switched to another SATA cable at another SATA port, voila ~ the system successfully booted into Windows sweat.gif.

Any comment on my severe problem? I couldn't afford system down any longer or my assignment will be screwed doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

i got this problme too, when I RAID 0 my raptor,it hang at the POST screen there,CTRL+ALT+DEL and make it restart but it keep on stuck at the Dark logo screen.

nope, not oc fail, luckily i managed to press Tab button and look at the POST,it hangs when it detecting HDD and DRAM laugh.gif
i guess is Intel RAID 0 problem, know why?cause it uses only ICH9R and when i raid 0 my raptor, there is 4 port left,i use 2 port to put my DVD-RW,so i think there is the problem.
when i use my Asus,i always put those DVD-RW into JMicron controller in order to prevent some conflict.
right now i running raid 0 in my raptor and both of my DVDRW also in ICH9R,but i change the port and everything seems ok sweat.gif
Raptor in SATA 0 and SATA 1 while DVDRW in SATA 4 and SATA 5.

Just sell it lor..... cheap cheap sure people buy ma....

Now that I'm using my new 2nd-hand DFI Blood Iron, I feel that my previous RMAed Ga-P35-DS3 is better, in many ways such as:
1) All solid caps
2) Good boot options/settings
3) Able to use USB BIOS flash
4) Not as cramped as the DFI
5) Able to undervolt
6) Cheaper

I compare this two as they seemed like the same low-end budget "performance" mobo.....

there was a arguement on this on a few forums
this is what was said basically

from G0, MO, C0 stepping basically all those that came after B3

intel designed the DTS to be inaccurate below 60C.
so basically all the idle is wrong which i think is true.
heck u should see mine..
1.48v load is 68C
1.5v load is 80C.. go figure wei.
