why are they so expensive? conversion rate lor.

I guess it's expensive due to the professional labor that being put in the process of manufacturing. You can't get a Nepalis who has no experience at all to inspect the glasses, can you?

There are lens manufactured in China carrying a China brand, which is so much more cheaper according to a Chinese forum I visit, but the quality sucks.

Lol... im not asking why are they so expensive... what i meant was, the documentary will make you understand why lens are so expensive because of the professional labour and manufacturing... =P

hehe. anyway it IS expensive in Malaysia. if you look at the UK magazine and study their lens price. damn. really conversion rate is a killa.

400D only 459 GBP.
5D only 1679 GBP.
24-105 F4L IS USM 699 GBP

That plus their av monthly income = 2000 gbp. Malaysians' rm1500 .
