guys,i didnt turn off my computer at all for 3months.will there be any problem happen to my computer?
it's a desktop and a notebook.
i have many fan and at night i turn on the air-cond.
but i sked if in long run the computer will ham kah chan very fast is it?
or it will not?

every hardware have its own lifespan..if u kept using it 24hours, it means u r totally using the hardware,while no rest and it will reduce the lifespan a lot..
even robot or car need to rest..

MY desktop on 24/7 for 2years, so far still no problem .

Same I on my pc most of the time and restart whenever my PC is slow.

yeah agreed my office running 24/7 2 and half year no problem at all and 2 display card to view on 3 monitor.

there's a lot la... and me myself too never switch off unless there's no electricity, black out or routine job - cleaning

anyway... this is more like kopitiam stuff, besides it's already in Hardware section...

hardwares lifespan depends on how long you use every hour. example if it is designed to last for 24 hours, if you use it for 24 hours straight in one day, it die. or if you use it 4 hours a day, then it will last for 6 days. the basic idea is like that

do you know that if u turn on and off on and off the computer will die faster than u dont turn off ur comp?

you guys can hold servers then lol. Since its 24/7 on damn, even computers need a rest.
