becoz he poison all ppl with his white lens..flash gun etc during zoo negara outing.

i got poisoned by the 40D...gasped...speaking of which, should i get a 70-200 F4L with IS or should i get the 40D? the slightly more expensive kit.

Get C70-200mm f4 L first. It'll motivate you a lot. Ask weileongz, he just bought one recently and he's so crazy about it now.

70-200 f/4 L superb lens, first hand experience but i want the 70-200 f/2.8 IS L though

Hmm, friends over here in my school. Would vote for 40D though...now i have to think real wisely.

55-200mm..or go straight to 55-250mm IS. or 3rd party like tamron 70-300 2ndhand unit.

remember lens more important than body , 350D already a good cam, must see if there's really a need to go to 40D or not. for me I won't be upgrading my cam unless I want to go FF or the new few generation of xxxD cam really more advance

and other accescories like flash gun... whoa..very expensive hobby..

no1 la.. canon ori lens.. better

55 is not far enough , dont know ? i though over 100 is tele ? haha

tele lens does no cover below 50mm, 50mm = our eye view(base on 35mm Full frame), below 50mm is wide , above 50mm is tele....correct me if got wrong....

eh. i was not referring to the Tammy 17-50mm la. i'm just saying i got poisoned, and i'll try to make it my kit-lens-replacement.

i was talking about the 55-250mm.

Tammy 17-50mm is a standard zoom lens, 55-250mm hmm i think should be telephoto zoom

technically, i require something that has iso of 3200, and 6.5 fps is something i need. Cause for school i handle events like sports and performances that require that iso and a fast camera.

For RM3k

How about a used Canon 20D + used Tammy 17-50mm f2.8 as your kittlylens? 20D is 5fps and it can go up to ISO 3200.

If you go for a used 30D, you might only able to get the body + the standard Canon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kittylens.



Get Siggy 70-300mm f4-5.6 Macro. You get both Tele + Macro lens.

Then save up more for the Canon 70-200mm f4 L.

Actually, my budget is around 5k area..so im thinking of 40D and EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM.

Since your halfway there, might aswell get the 2.8L with IS..

For 5k.
Used Canon 30D + Used Canon 70-200mm f4 L should fit your budget.



Used 20D + Tammy 17-50mm f2.8 is around RM3k



I rather get myself a Canon 10-22mm rather than pumping extra 2k into my C70-200mm f2.8 L for the additional IS At least I get to use a super wide angle lens + good event + potrait lens.
