how fast for it to load everything from the moment u turn on ur pc to those gadgets?

To draw the icons and create cache, the loading of 8start when u turn on pc is not fast. (only occur when boot up compuer). After 8start loaded, it will create cache and using it, the speed is super fast.

Suggest you try click apply when you add any single shortcut, then you will know which shortcut create the problem.
Let me know then so I can improve.

ceh.like that i'd rather use the normal windows without customize.load slow very marfun.

i uninstall it then install it again.
can start ady.
i put create group and button. then when i apply it.
the error again......
why?

Can you do the following step for troubleshooting?
1. uninstall and install again
2. create a group and click apply, see if any error
3. create a shortcut and click apply, see if any error.
4. repeat step 3, until a error found

let me know which path cause the error so I can troubleshooting.

the loading speed depends on how many icons you decide to have on it, for a modern computer today such small application shouldn't take more than 5 secs for a fairly sufficient shortcut launcher to load.

the time for me to load for this program is 1 sec(partly due to few icons, but even i double the amount it will not exceed 3 secs).

you should try it yourself and determine whether it is slow for you or not, it won't cost you anything.

i reinstalled it again.
group created, applied. no problem.
button created, applied and the error pop-up.

Is all of the button created generate the error or only certain shortcut?

Both oso failed and the same pop-up msg.

Can u provide the following information:
- Windows XP or Vista
- Screen dpi (normal is 96dpi)

does it support usb drive? i'm using pstart as portable launcher. can this replace?

1. right click on the desktop>New>Shortcut, at the link type 'shutdown -s -t 00', have the shortcut placed at any folder.

2. organize your button in 8start to link to the shortcut.

I think that make it always on top is not so efficient, will block your working application like excel, word...

well, Always On Top is just an option that u can add on the next version..
because just like winamp, maybe somebody out there wants it to be on top.. (well that's the reason for it, hence the name itself is self-explainatory)..

some people doesnt mind if it block words etc etc.. because I myself use winamp on top when i want to surf the net.. while surveying some thread i prefer to let the winamp window sstays on top.. that's just me tho..
