Just a note, there's no cropping here, just framing.

Got feeling that you are using 1d series plus a super L lens.. 500mm L IS USM perhaps?

Can you share some techniques on panning? would love to learn some.

All i know is, to use monopod, ai servo, burst frame. and to time and frame. Shutter speed varies from 1/30 ~1/60 perhaps?

MOTUL AUTECH GT-R driven by Michael Krumm win pole position with 1:55.155


ARTA NSX with only 1:55.356 (Ralph Firman) only manage to secure 2nd position on tomorrow's starting grid.


REAL NSX on the other hand managed 1:55.443 with Toshihiro Kaneishi at 3rd place.


Looks like the battle tomorrow will be between the GT-Rs & NSXs

GT300 Quaifying Results

CUSCO DUNLOP SUBARU IMPREZA driven by Kota Sasaki is the fastest car in the GT300, winning himself a pole position (2:07.530)


THe new LexusIS350 proves itself by landing Manabu Orido at 2nd position with 2:08.227


ARTA Garaiya driven by Shinichi Takagi takes 3rd placing with 2:08.251

The cusco Impreza is fastest also because its the only 4wd in its class.

what? the car has 4WD? How can it be like that? That is totally unfair to the rest of the competitors in the GT300 class. I thought the 4WD should be removed and replaced by RWD like what previous GTRs did in GT500. ?

Even the previous Wedsports Celica were RWD (converted from FWD).

Sound like a typical Canon profesional. Nowadays not much people still practising that... even they are using Canon.


My raw guess is Canon 1D series. I guess from the photo and framing that I had seen, basically perfection.

#77 CUSCO DUNLOP SUBARU IMPREZA leading the pack from pole position into Turn 2 of Round 4 of the championship.


#11 JIMCENTER ADVAN F430 behind 2nd place #19 WedsSport IS350; trying hard to gain position into Turn 2 but have to hard break as the opening had close...

However, it seems the suspension was hit hard and #19 has to retired. Manabu Orido is clearly upset.

there's no rules saying u cant have 4wd. Previous GTRs did it because of the weight.

Actually there is a rule in SGT series that say competitors are not allow to use 4WD among other things.
