Try XviD4PSP. For AVI file, in video encoding setting, just select copy and it will not reencode the video file. However, the file size still will be around the size before you convert.

is there any headphone that currently suitable with psp slim ? i check with the package , they said headphone but i saw it as a earphone .

u can try using acronis for formating....but be warn,psp will reject tat fat16 ms

Go to Command Prompt. To access that, go to your Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt

Type in "format x: /fs:fat" (without the quotes and where x: is your memory stick drive letter). Ignore the warnings and just hit Enter or Yes.

N.B-: Remember that once U had formatted your memory stick from the PC, DO NOT re-format it again in your PSP system XMD. Doing so will revert the memory back to the FAT32 system again. So... pls either copy your folder layout 1st of your PSP over to a temp folder in your PC, AND after formatting it back to FAT, U can then cut n paste the folders again, so that all your seplugins, GAME150, 390 is intact as U usually would have to.

just bought a fat psp so im still a newbie in this. ive updated to the latest firmware 3.90 and if i want to update to custom firmware does that mean i have to downgrade the firmware first?

and ive search google and even register with yourpsp.com to search for demos but most of the demo games are quite limited, do you guys have any website suggestions?

1)what firmware you using( go to setting >system setting > system information see what system software)
2)did you use any plugin?? e.g
3)did you change anything in recovery menu(for m33) try change umd mode to sony NP9660 - no umd
4) did you try your mspd on other psp & the other psp still got this problem ??

Go to dark-alex.org and download the latest custom firmware namely 3.90 M33.

This is the readme. Just follow the intruction.


- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 3.90 sony update from official sony site, and put it in same folder, with name "390.PBP".
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.

then extract. it's an easy installer.everything included.
if u cant run the easy installer. just copy UPDATE folder and paste it in ur mspd, PSP/GAME/
and run it at XMB.

Easiest way to spot fake MSPD....Price at around RM120.00. LOL
Problems == high possibility of your data getting corrupted & your PSP not recognizing your memory card.

Its located in ur XMB under game section,press X to run it and follow the instruction

XMB = Ur menu screen...

it's XMB. It's sorta the screen u get when u on ur psp. Has Music, Video and etc

i got a phat psp bricked,i think so coz when flashing with a new cfw,the battery fell off the psp and the installation is halted and when i put the battery on again the psp just show a black screen,unable to enter recovery mode as well...any advice?

I finally upgraded to 3.90 M33.. but why i couldn't see the skype in the menu?

skype are not available on fat psp and psp-2000.
if u're using psp-2000.u can change ur region at m33 recovery menu.then skype will appear.

Mine still cant use Skype after I installed 3.90 Official FW.

How to enter the recovery menu and which region to change to? I'm using psp-2000

Press the on button the straight away press the R button (continue pressing till the recovery menu comes up)
Remember that playing around the recovery menu may brick your PSP

Most people that have a pandora batt + magic mspd are either working/own a gameshop or in the business of upgrading & de-bricking psps. So abit hard to borrow frm them, unless you are willing to pay a service fee.

helo, not sure whether this is the right thread to post my question.

recently i checked and fix my fat psp using keycleaner, my question is how can i fix the 0x0041.bin file?

tried googled and all suggest to get the file from another psp fat, then use another program to fix it, can someone direct me to where i can get the file? or can someone just send the 0x0041.bin to me?

Then I go recharge my psp and the next morning, when i on my psp .. the game continue where i left off. I press [HOME] to quit the game and press YES. Then .. after I press YES, it hangs for abt 5 sec ... is this normal ?? or got problem edy ??

if u r using cfw i think tat's normal..but after upgrading to 3.90 m33 tat prob disappear already...

Latest FW is 3.90M33. For phat 3.80M33-5 i good enough. The different is only the skype function. That also is only available for slim not for phat.
