pipitkk,it might say "Sony" on it,but it could be a fake one.You can check wether yours is fake or not by clicking "Triangle" in any menu tabs in the XMB,and then click "information".
If it says "MagicGate Supported",then it's an original one.If it says "Unknown",then it's a fake one.

Just bought my psp today @ seremban. Out of 3 shops i surveyed , they were selling the PSP with 4GB at RM800.

This shop that i bought from , was selling it for RM750

loving it right now.. Anything i can do to spice it up? (dont plan to hard mod just yet)

Yes,just remove the battery.

And it's not a UMD game so the manual won't tell you anything about the hang problem that you're facing.It's just a problem with your UMD mode.I won't say anything more cause it's illegal.Use google.com and solve your problem.

Batteries nowadays don't need to be charged that long for the first time u use it, just follow the guide which states 2.5hours. For me I always charge it overnight as it will stop charging automatically.

no laa.... you hav to wait a bit longer... then the orange light will turn off automatically.
dunno how to say, sometimes the psp indicate 100%. but the truth is there's a lil bit of space to charge.

You can't know exactly where it reaches 100% right because there are only 3 bars of battery. If the orange light still on means battery not full yet la. Charging overnight should not be a problem bcz it will be automatically cut off and u will see the orange light went off after it's full.

kamikraze,it basically is a normal psp unit with a customized body and stuff like that.For example,the GoW psp has an image of "Kratos" at the back of it.Other than that,you don't get any new additions.If you buy the full set,you'll get the UMD game as well.

If you ask me,it is worth it.Try counting and you'll understand why.One UMD costs around RM150 - RM200,and you got two UMD's for about RM100 (If compared with your friend's psp price)

Because Bookr works for me, but it can only read small sized pdf files. Most of my pdf are magazines (pc world etc) and are larger than 30MB. Bookr couldn't read my big sized pdf, only small ones.

Any recomendations?

munak991,only into the PSP folder directories.If you want,you can download the file to ANY directory,then use a psp file manager,and move it to wherever you want all on your psp itself.

You might want to try Irshell,NervOS,PSP Filer or maybe even mypspshell.
