I'm so excited by next month, I'm saving up RM500 to get a new guitar, but it's not just for guitar.

RM 500

Guitar + Tuner + Capo + Guitar Pack(That can be made to travel around)

So what are your suggestions? Preferbaly that can squeeze myself to save up maybe RM50 in the end if can.

For an acoustic guitar, the budget should be no problem.


For an electric, I doubt you can get a good combo with just that.

My lame squier california strat alone already cost me 540 in this lame place.

Now the prices for the same guitar I bought has gone up by at least 40 here.

Are you new to guitar? If yes then get the Yamaha f-310 for RM350 and save the change

Where can I get the Yamaha F310? Been looking around at the shop listed, but im clueless which shop should I go to, got no time survey around ... any other good entry lvl acoustic beginner guitar?

for beginner level, you might wanna have a look at F-210 as well. the sound is pretty much the same like F-310 and it is cheaper. since you will probably get a good one when you are good enough in guitar anyway.

So I went one shop today, had survey the price, and asked my mentor about the prices.

So what I'm getting is a Dunlop CAPO at RM50,
Yamaha Guitar PACK RM90? fck I know this is exp, I don't know what's in it, i just asked around for the price, so tell me whats make a good guitar pack that make it RM90?
Yamaha F310 RM300
Inteli tuner at RM100,(duno wat tong tong the real band name is)

By right it's already way out of my budget because of the guitar pack, help me out here.

A normal bag shouldn't cost much unless it is well padded. The tuner is quite expensive too, unless it has some xtra features.

you can get good enough bags for RM60-70.

capo also you can get one for around RM20-30.

or save the rm 70+ by downloading a cheap computer tuner hahaha but more hassle

Fuh yesterday was a journey, and my dumb mistake being made!

Woke up went to lrt station, drop off at hang tuah, walk all the way to kl plaza, the yamaha outlet wasn't there anymore, then saw this bentley store outside of it look around, ask the saleman where is ck ... went to ck, nothing there except for more electric guitar and accessories of guitar part, asked the salesman where I could get a hand on Yamaha guitar, then he suggested going to chamber at sungai plaza, went there, have a looked, asked the saleman, and he said got one for sale, he took it out, had a look at the guitar, I asked as well for the full set I intended to buy, fuhhhhh it was way so much more expensive and the quality guitar pack RM70, like wtf? he goes to a storeroom which is so unorganized like looking for a needle in a haystack and he found it took it out and said "this bag is RM70" , in my head thinking "t...t@#%" , so I was thinking to just buy the guitar and a cheapo guitar pack .....

I started to have a look at the guitar Yamaha every inch of it(hey so what even if it's not Gibson, washburn bla bla expensive guitar? It's RM325) , and found it was defect, so they said will get another one at the storeroom, wait wait wait, look around the shop, wait wait wait, and they said there were no stock, so leaving and thinking going back to the first shop I surveyed.

Had more talk with the first shop saleman but unfortunately still same price but its more worth buying here, had a look at everything I'm going to buy, so paid deposit took back the tuner first and the capo, he said only can get the guitar tommorow, went back tried to tune my old guitar, tuned tuned tuned... tick tick tick snap! Oh shiet! Fine blah, went to sleep, after 2hrs got a call from the shop, he said it's already arived, my mind was *YAY*! Leaving the house in heavy rain, doesn't matter as long I got "MAH PRECIOUS", arrived soaked in rain water, took it, went back by taxi, played a while, played, played, then tried to tune it .. tick tick tick you know what happened next? SNAP! In my mind *F$%K**F$%K**F$%K**F$%K* .

Wasting no further time, went back to the shop, change a new string, and the salesman thought I was guitar expert, ehh, fck so embarrased, the problem was that I wrongly tune it, in orderly EAGDBE, but the standard tuning it was supposed to be EADGBE , BLAH! Went back played with the guitar and -The End-
