i wan to ask, the battery life for nokia N95 (normal) issit jz only can long lasting within a day for normal use for call (2hour) and SMS (30)>>

My N95 screen jz went blank two days ago..

A week ago, I felt something wrong as the sceen went blank when I slided half, but okay when i slided completely up or down.

Now, it's gone. Anyone noe the problem of this? I guess it's the ribbon or cable right?

Any price quotation? haha.. I need to noe hw much it cost to repair and whether I shd... warranty over, used for 1.5 years.

maybe the ribbon is loose. it should be less than rm50 to repair if thats the case.

I had the same problem with my N80 previously as well. Changed the ribbon but spoilt a month later.

Any suggestion of where I should bring it to repair? Nokia or other phone shop? Any reliable shop here?

Plan to change the casing also. how much does it cost?

suddenly my n95 going crazy.i just can receive and make a call.others thing like messaging,open gallery and thing that using phone memory cannot be open.its show error message:

NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO PERFORM OPERATION.DELETE SOME DATA FIRST.

how come?even though i already delete all data in the phone memory.i also try to restore factory setting but it still show the same error massage.when i delete all the file in the phone memory,its show some increasing in the memory but after i restart it,i check the memory again it show 0 KB.

can i entered n95 OS through pc?

Hi, i've tried to set the auto rotate for my firmware v.30 to automatic, however it din auto rotate, may i know is there anything else need configue?

also after uploading my firmware, i've difficulty to restore previous messages and application back but it'll run until 50++% but fully uses my CPU and memory spaces and showing me error command.

and if i've updated to v.30, can i reinstall it as i chose the wrong region as well... sigh...

it will work but it slow respond.. after u change the setting wait for like 4-5 second and slowly move it. auto-rotate in version 30 not really respond enough compare to other auto rotate phone. u can try alternative auto rotate like landscape pro

Anyone done skinning their N95 before?
My housing got some scratches, was thinking whether to change housing or go for skinning.

actually i bought a used set, the first owner buy from a shop inside digital mall... will go there soon...

IMO, deadpixel got nothing to do with the software/firmware. its the hardware problem.

Is it normal that when we plug in earphone to listen songs, sometimes the keypad backlight doesnt turn on? I notice that sometimes when i sms while listening songs..

that was because the light sensitivity.
beside the front camera, if u realize, there is a small eye. that eye act as light detector.
it will turn on the keypad light when u r not dark or less light place.
try it. wen u under the light, let say in ur room, try put ur N95 under the bed which is dark place. the keypad will turn on.
if this what u looking for, then i am correct. else, i misunderstood ur question.

I tried plug in ear phone listening to songs and sms at the same time, sometime the backlight is not on.. but if i take off the earphone and sms, backlight is on..
