Hi, I'm really close of getting a PSP, I was trying to ask around in Sungei Wang today and the more shops I asked around, the cheaper I get and make me start to worry! First, I ask one for RM680 with 3.71 M33 Custom Firmware, then RM600 with the 3.71 M33, then I asked 2 shops they are selling for RM550 with original firmware. Well, can someone advice me if it is safe to buy from them? I've a source from Johor that I only need to pay RM30 for them to hack my PSP to 3.71 M33, probably I will wait till they have the 3.80 M33 which is near soon available, a friend of mine travel regularly every month to Johor.

I'm planning to buy one from a shop right next to Parkson entrance at the atrium of Sungei Wang for just RM550, and I will send the PSP for a custom firmware 3.71 M33 in Johor sometime later, please advice it is safe buying from these cheap sellers, I'm worried!

i think it is not that cheap if the psp set with latest firmware for Rm550 . because that is the psp set only without any package . you must add Rm 230 for 4gb memory stick then games also will be charge and also other accories ..

is that the slim or fat version?

ask them thoroughly, most of them not telling u what u really got in the package for the price u r paying. careful dude.

So true. In fact, they might not even include the charger. They say, charger must add RM50. Furthermore, most of their so call free 1gb memory card is so not original. Sg. Wang would definitely be my last choice to shop for psp.

For a well known reputable seller, you should lookout at S&M beside kotaraya. 3rd floor i think.

YA sungei really is a scary place for me to buy h/p or console or their accessories there.. They can even con u with 2nd hand psp prob'ly wihtout letting u know there's something inside missing or problems causing..

It's not hard to learn about updating software.. I update myself n now still until 3.71 M33-4.
There's few most trustable game consoles seller here posting at the forum. U can search them out .. I think there's around 3 or 4 of them (shop).
