im looking for an aussie version ps3 which can play aussie blu-ray movies, so far no luck . ps3 in aussie is selling for AU$699, damn exp. anyone knows where i can get it here in msia??

i thought blu-ray region, Region A has the advantage for being the first group of movie release?
means Asian PS3 can watch movies as the same region as JP/US

im gonna bring my ps3 (if im able to get 1 here) back to oz. afaik, ps3 here cant play blu-ray discs in oz...

Yep thats because OZ discs is probably a different region. I doubt anyone here takes in PAL units (OZ and Europe), and even in Europe, PS3 is relatively more expensive.

I think most tv nowadays has a multi system feature. Just buy a NTSC/J PS3 and import all BD movies from amazon.com. Problem solve.
