Wireless connectivity (802.11a/b/g or Bluetooth) has become essential to anywhere, anytime communications, enabling home and business users to stay connected, no matter where they go. However, managing multiple connections is sometimes difficult and often time consuming. Even when reconfiguring a network connection is simple, it still takes time to change the default printer, the browser settings or make other changes to connect to peripherals in the new location.
Toshiba has developed ConfigFree™ to assist in quickly capturing, storing and switching among wireless and wired connections as required. Users store location-based information and default settings for work, home, hotspots or other locations. For instant connectivity, users simply switch profile as they change locations.
With the availability of ConfigFree™, Toshiba once again demonstrates its commitment to enabling "anywhere, anytime communications". For customers and companies alike, wireless connectivity becomes much easier and more intuitive. So, now you can spend less time configuring your wireless connections and more time simply communicating.

** If there is not an entry on the right for "Instcheck" you must add or create a new string value for it under ConfigFree entry and possibly even the "ConfigFree" on the left under Toshiba as well.
** Backup the registry before you attemp to modify.
There is also a newer version of Config Free which works under Vista. But not sure whether the same old trick can be applied as well.
