Hi All, i got a problem with my streamyx, basically the line is not under my name, so every month we pay RM 88, but now i wana downgrade n the owner already move out, is there any other alternative?? n if nex time i wana do termination, wats the alternative?? pls help or guide me... rclxub.gif

u can't do anything if it's not under yur name, unless you get a letter from the acct owner and verification from tmnut.

Apply new line. Use the phone line & modem from the old line.

Let the previous owner x-x ... why he doesn't settle the streamyx line properly before moving out ?

should be no problem as long as the owner still alive and you can contact him/her.

Write 2 letters.
(1) Letter from owner saying that he want to terminate/ downgrade. Signed by owner.

(2) Letter of authorization from owner, saying that owner allows you to conduct this termination/downgrade matters on his behalf.

Submit this 2 letters with application letter for termination/ downgrade.

I think this method will do.

yup...attached owner's ic copy as well with the letters...should be no problem if contract have passed...

As someone suggested, either:-
1) Get the owner to terminate the line so that you can apply a new line OR
2) Get the owner to transfer the line to you.
