btw..this test is under air cooling still

atm cant get accurate reading .. coz core temp and obo software reading is in accurate... bios also not so confirm that its accurate...
Should be because it's an ES proc. Temp reading is totally off mark.

not sure,coretemp stuck at 32c,bios showing 65c and Aegis panel 50c
This thing is supposed to be cooler than current 65nm chips. Well, 1.7Vcore and 65C load is considered good.

i disable another core in bios,cant get sub 10sec with 2 cores enabled,will try with water cooling seem any helps or not later

not only penryn,just not all mobo bios able to disable,in tat case,we disable it when boot into windows

5.0ghz is kind of impossible for Air Cooling.

How do you disable a core? Interested to know as I wanna go penryn quad next time. Thinking of running 2 cores when doing basic things and 4 cores when need extreme powaaahhh!!!
