*reflection on the water...

all the klcc entries looks marvelous.. maybe because it's using the manual mode, everything is bright and detail. care to share what exposure ratings used in the making of this sequel?

erm.. most of it used about 10-15 second of exposure for the correct exposure.. and the underexposed photos would be around 4 second i think and the overexposed photos, could be reaching 20+ to 30 seconds... .. some of the photo itself i used more than 25second for the correct exposure...

HDR gambar gerak2 ni nanti tak jadi sangat.. must reduce the ghosting effect, itu pon tak brape nak jadi..

sebab tu shoot 1 RAW file jer.. pastu.. dari RAW leh jadikan 3 exposure.. nampak cam tak ORI nye HDR la.. but.. that's the only way nak shoo moving object.. cam kereta F1 ke.. panning shots ke..

but, if got the ghosting effect pun, chun what.. hah.. got the movement effect..heuh

my #68 picture, if u look properly, can see "ghost" walking around.. hahaha

if we shoot just 1 raw file, how to generate the 3 exposures? sorry noob question..

when u open the RAW file, or NEF file (i usually open it with photoshop cs2) a window will popup and all the setting u can adjust.. one of it the Exposure setting.. so.. just set -2 and +2 la.. then save...

if u want to set for 5 exposure also can.. -2,-1,0,+1,+2 haa... can try la.. see what's the different between 5 exposures and 3 exposures..
but to remind u.. not all RAW can extract to different exposure.. i mean, yeah, u can extract.. but not all photo would got the details.. maybe the darker spot would never give out the details.. yela.. kalo dah amik gmabar gelap gelita.. agak2...kalo jadikan +2, nampak apa je? hahah so, shooting 3 or 5 exposures are better result than RAW la... my opinion laaa

owh. i have to try it now.. lol.. wait for the update.. dont u dare to sleep now.. haha..

where did the photoshoo takes place? ni mcm housing area blakang concorde je

oh wait... masjid--> JAIS--->SUK... hmm... seksyen brape ni

amik dari seksyen 9... belakang concorde tu pun sek 9 gak..tapi area aku amik gambar ni jauh skit dari situ...

kalo ko tanya masjid tu seksyen bape...masjd takde seksyen, kalo ade pun maybe sek 14 (pusat banda)... jais and suk tu sek 5

oops.. sorry... the 20sec+ exposure is for the dusk shots.. but.. the building shots also using tripod as i got to take 3 exposures for doing the HDR

bracket 3 exposures mate.. aku kalo gambar gini mmg pakai tripod.. amik 3 shots.. one RAW tu..emergency cases je..and utk jenis yg tak leh pakai tripod..cam gambar org bergerak ke...keta ke..

of course it is an old building! since i born and live in shah alam.. the building sudah ada....

bout maintaining, i think its gotta a tough job as.. if u can see got some patches on the building..actually.. it is the missing small tiles or mosaics on the wall! not the paint.. and i think... veryhard la to climb and just to cement back the missing ones!
