I have seen this many this times, and yet I have never thought about asking the lonewolfs themselves. So please enlighten me.

Why is it that when a game goes terribly one side, and my team being completely obliterated people from my side start to abandon squad play and be lonewolfs?

Is there some kind of strategy to lonewolfing that I am not aware of here?

Sorry. Its been like this alot lately, everytime join the server I end up with the losing side. And the losing is so bad, some times its like 100+ to 0 tickets. And there will be like 11 people not assigned to any squad. Only 3 people in squad.

either they are too shy joining squad or too skill-fool into joining a squad... me myself usually being a lone wolf when in sniping... say i was invited to joining a squad, accept it and i'll come to the leader (if i died, i'd go for Medic (medic whore FTW)

or sometimes when i enter the game then i saw enemy in front of me and forget to join.

sometimes plying on those server, ppl use VOIP in a squad those noisy sound coming from their mouth, loud and not clear, but when they cakap kasar u can heard it very clear.

i also tried be4 that i join a squad and they kick me out becoz i'm not same clan or frend, frustated lar

sometimes when i'm sniping alone i normally create a team myself, when i camping that place i can call commander to drop me a supply......unlimited ammunition

, that would be sucks, since the crate already give away our position... unless you used to relocate from time to time

no ppl ask y drop at the exact spot of ur sniping location mar, drop further lo, when need ammo then go there take lo, better than some stupid throw the ammo pack right at me and let the enemy spot me

if i'm the Support/Medic, i will throw the ammo pack/med kit in front of the player, if i'm the sniper/camper... i'm the one who pissed off

When im using sniper, i'll go for lonewolf...Close quarter sniping FTW!! ~Sniper Whore~ That's why i suck at teamwork, unless i use other kits...

If I am not mistaken the sniper kit allows the whole squad netbat to retain enemy location longer (red diamond and minimap reddots). Via the netbat fade delay unlock. So don't always be lonewolfs la, fill up those squads even if you are not going to on the front lines.

Sniper can CQB what.. With pistols, knife and unscope sniper rifle kill. Spotting, Capping Flag & booby traps also help team. Sometimes you can also be BAIT for your squad only if you know you are cover by good medic.

The helmet unlock. It relay info of location of the enemy your squad has spotted to the other members. That info come is 2 forms and with a limited duration, the red dot on minimap and the red diamond on the screen. If you havent unlock the helmet you can still spot enemy but it not as fast if I am not mistaken.

The assault helmet shows what type of infantry to the squad, support's shows health, engineer's show vehicle health and sniper's delays the fading.

Spotting is generally done when you target your cross hair the enemy with Q and leftclick. 1st it will appear on the minimap as red dot. Aim a bit longer or Fire at them and it will appear as red diamond. That way if you missed them at least your squad can finished them off.

Other ways to get red dots on minimap: UAV & infantry radar with the support kit.
Other ways to get red diamond on screen: The Dtus Squad leader unlock & the hand held radar with the support kit.
