First of all I'm a newbie in here.....I questions to ask to cure my curiosity:

Recently I stumbled into the ads on Izzi Net in Star and purportedly to be a "4G" wireless internet. It offers quite a good package....but i'm skeptical about their service so I want to ask everyone......

1.how's their service?

2.is their service reliable?

3.Is it better than streamyx(for real)?

4.Is it better than any other ISPs?

5.Is there any ISPs that are good and reliable and worth my money?

I'm asking this because i'm currently looking for a wireless internet service which is reliable, good and worth my money.I'm a college student in Masterskill College in Cheras,Selangor. smile.gif

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.

I know there was a thread talking about it already but....i want to know their views since I'm needing a wireless internet and I need reviews about IzziNet to get me thinking if this service is reliable.....I can't use wired internet since my apartment(aka hostel) is not provided with the phone line....

so i want to listen to reviews of Izzinet from users of such service.....could anyone be so kind as to tell me what do they think of their service after subscribing to their service. smile.gif

They all seem to have mixed opinion on the service. But remember you'll be paying it in instalments (which sucks) and apart from that you cant' do much with the modem.

oh....really......so in this case......their service is either not reliable or reliable......man......things like this always happenkah? oh....well....it gets me thinking anyway......so in your opinion.......do you i should get this service....(I'm a full-time college student with money <RM1000).

If not, what kind of service that is good, reliable and money-worth.....I'm still trying to look for a good, affordable service that I as a student can benefit from it....I need to use internet as I'm constantly use it for my assignments that needs research for assignments.

so,IYHO,what do you think about this?do you have a suggestion for this? hmm.gif hmm.gif

Honestly , I haven't tried the service. You gotta be a test rat for this service. Plus you'll be tied up with their contract. The other option is to use Maxis Wireless broadband or Celcom. I would personally opt for maxis , as its cheaper and you can pretty much take the modem with you. Plus izziNet is a new player here in the broadband business , so anything can go wrong (Okay..prasys be optimistic). Personally i leave it up to you , you may want to get an agent and test it out at your place. If you like the service go with it. Thats how I did with Maxis and JARING Wireless.

They are too new to be judged. Even at international stage, iBurst is consider to be a new tech which is going thru its examination, at 1mbps is can't really tell, unlike >2mbps, stability, latency and reliability plays an important role. Who needs a 4mbps line to read news or check emails blink.gif ....

I was at the pc fair, i did ask the izzi promoter abt the companies future expansion plans of going nationwide... target 3~5 years at all major cities.

Becareful, the sales/engger try to install for my sister. I tested the connection speed is only 110kbps. Compare to My Jaring WBB 400Kbps and my Maxis Wired BB - 800Kbps.

Of cause, the engineer try to give excuse the site is under finetuning and etc... At the end of day they promise to give one month free for try out witout charging.. My syster said ok and signout anyways it's free ...

But next day, they asked for a lot of Credit Card information, even try to fotostat my syster credit card, also wanted the last 3 digit security code...

Wah with that, they can spam the credit card transaction over the internet.... vmad.gif vmad.gif

Of cause my sister refuse, only then she find out, izzi has give instruction to charge the montly feed starting immediately and.. mad.gif mad.gif

I don't have trust to this company, pls get the act right before selling the services...

I just terminate my maxis broadband account last saturday. For me maxis is s***s.
Better don't go for maxis.
I'm also still looking for the best broadband wireless. At first i think to try izzinet but after i read all the comment about this product (not just this forum) i think better i get celcom broadband.

iZZinet depends on where u stay. If the place u stay got high signal, ur connection will be great and consistently u'll get 1Mbps. I live in Kuchai Lama. Here, the signal, the connection so far is great. I bought it last week and have been online till now without dc. I make full use of the bandwith (torrent, porn, etc, etc).

So far, thumbs up!! If ur place got full signal.. then, go for it!!

Why dont you just go and read the peoples idea in the "iZZi" thread.

Anyway, im an iZZi user. Satisfied with it.

No torrent throttle so far. Speed usually around 800kbit/s.

Sometimes at night there are connection problem. But so far so good.
