i got no complaint about your service and want to say the quality is awesome!! whistling.gif

want to ask, what is the max speed for this?
and those who subscribed 4mb of streamyx... hmm.gif
rictan
victorboy, the max speed will depends on the speed you sign up with your provider. It depends on many factor since we are not the ISP provider for your network so I can't assure you anything.

I bet based on your current experience, you should know the speed you are getting biggrin.gif

Great to see you enjoying yourself wink.gif

Thanks for your interest in our service. Unfortunately, our bandwidth quota for Trial VPN has exceeded for this month thus we appreciate your patience and drop us a trial account request email again next month.

Thanks!

Hi, is there sth. wrong with the servers? It seems there's difficulties in connecting to the SecureAX servers. It's hard to connect to the Lowyat website and my emule speed is poor (below 10 kb/s) today. Pls check. Thanks!

Hi,
I believe it is something to do with Streamyx's international routing again. I do not experience any slowdown/anomalies with our servers in Europe & US, from UK.

Should you wish we can diagnose the problem for you, please submit a ticket to us because that's where technical support related queries should go to smile.gif

Thanks!

michaelfoo
Bumping thread up.

Hi,
As usual, please attach your log file and email to us at support[at]secureax.com

The error log will tell everything smile.gif

Thanks!

ps: If you see a lot of "TLS Handshake" in the log, it means your network to the VPN server is not stable hence I'm afraid it could be Streamyx's routing issue.

This few day streamyx route so terrible. TMNUT forge tcp packet pass 2month (slow down browsing) vmad.gif mad.gif

Good to hear that smile.gif We have design our program to solve such issues automatically as sometimes we will need to add/remove servers regularly and do not wish to trouble our client in modifying the settings manually.

Thanks for your review smile.gif

Hi,
As mentioned many times before in this thread:
Premium = Tier 1 + Tier 2 (backup) network carriers
Standard = Tier 2 + Tier 1 (backup) network carriers

Our standard network is a lot cheaper than premium, which is why we are giving our clients unmetered usage.

As to performance wise, it really depends on your network routing. In UK, both these network are equally good with Germany having lower latency since it is in Europe.

Cheers.
Only_Human
I feel Standard more faster than Premium sweat.gif
So i ask here wink.gif
rictan
Well, I guess your network routes is better than the premium then. For most people, premium still stands the best of the standard network.

I guess you can't just feel the network speed just like that, you need real number biggrin.gif

Hi Michael,

Nice car but it doesn't actually bring out the speed in you. Anyways back on topic, I'm interested in your VPS/VDS services in Singapore. Where are the HN located and what sort of upstream provider are you using. With regards to your terms of conditions of use, do you allow torrent related data traversal and does your upstream provider allow for such to occur.

Are there any contracts involved as well? Which container are you using, OpenVZ, Zen, Virtuozzo etc. Your website is rather uninformative unfortunately and you should spend more time to brush up on that side of things. Finally, do you provide unmetered rate limited port connections?

Kind Regards,
xiaw
rictan
Hi xiaw,

Our VPS in Singapore is currently located in ViewQwest. At this moment, we strictly does not allow any torrent traffic in our VPS network.

As for the upstream provider, refer to this page.
http://www.cidr-report.org/cgi-bin/as-repo...6&v=4&view=4637

We are currently using OpenVZ. At this moment, we do not offer unmetered port speed due to the cost of our bandwidth in Singapore.

Hi, I'm new here. May I know what's the price and bandwidth limited for SecureAX? Can I pay via Maybank2u? Is there any trial? 1 day also ok. Currently I can't seem to dl using emule/torrent with full speed. The only one which is running fast is xunlei. But using xunlei to dl emule files are really terrible slow. I like to use emule because many files from emule can't be found in BT. Is VPN the best solution here? Thanks laugh.gif
michaelfoo
Hi MingKAI,
Thanks for the questions:

May I know what's the price and bandwidth limited for SecureAX?
Premium network has metered bandwidth starting from 100GB/mo (BronzeVPN) + Unmetered Standard network

Can I pay via Maybank2u?
We have only PBB account so you will have to do an Interbank GIRO transfer from your Maybank2u to our PBB.

Is there any trial?
Yes but unfortunately it's only available for senior members who have certain number of posts in the forum.

Is VPN the best solution here?
We do not claim that we are the best VPN provider but so far our clients are satisfied with our services. One thing for sure, we are the only registered company in Lowyat Forum providing VPN service smile.gif

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply dude. May I know the price for Premium account? What I meant is, I'm using 1.5Mbps here. If I use your service, is it guarantee that I can get full speed like I get before TMnut throttle us? Last time I can get 100KB/s++ from emule, I just wanna get back the speed. Sorry for many questions, since there is no trial for newbie, I need to clarify all before I subscribe it cool2.gif

Lastly, how can I buy it? What's the procedures? I wish to get it ASAP. Thanks thumbup.gif

Hi,
All the details are available in the first post:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/580436

To answer to your question, I wouldn't say you'll get a maximum 1.5Mbps because geographic position is a major factor that is pulling back your download speed but yes, you should expect your download speed to be unthrottled with VPN.

Cheers.

Hi MingKAI,
Sorry for the slow reply. I believe I told you in the ticket that my colleague and I are both on vacation trip now (in fact he's sitting right in front of me at this moment) that there will be slight delay in our reply speed. Anyway, I did tell you in the email previously that we will try our best to get connected to the internet whenever we can.

We are currently working on your account now and you will be sent the welcome mail soon.

Thanks.

ps: I believe we have worked hard enough even on Christmas Holiday, New Year & Labour Day. Please give us a few days off for a vacation as for now, we are human too and we need a break blush.gif

Hi macie,
Could you please drop us an email at support @ secureax.com containing your registered Name and Email so we'll follow up the case for you?

In the meantime, depending on the usage of your VPN account, if it is low, we'll just temporarily suspend your account and reactivate it back again for 1 month when you find the need to use the VPN service. After all, we wouldn't like you to pay for something that you do not use smile.gif No worries, we are flexible wink.gif

Which part of Spain are you going to? Visiting Spain for sunbathing?

Cheers.

I got the account already. Thanks for the effort Michael and Rictan laugh.gif . I tried few of the clients. Same hot torrent, using utorrent getting normal speed less than 50 KB/s, bitcomet 0.66 Modified can get more than 50 KB/s, xunlei sometimes very stable sometimes didn't move at all. I'm used to be a big fan of emule, that's why I tried to move back to emule last night and it only max me back to 40 KB/s. I can connect to emule easily after using this VPN but the speed still can't get over 100KB/s with my 1.5 Mbps. Currently i'm using the Premium thing and I can see I connect through Germany server which is directing me my homepage to Google.com.de hmm.gif

I don't know what's the problem which only slightly increase my emule speed. Anyway, is there any expert emule/BT user can guide me? What version of emule/BT is the best? Am I allow to discuss it here? Lastly, I will give my feedback once I done the proper configuration and test it out thumbup.gif

P/S: Since every account has 1 particular port, do I need to forward that port? If so, forward it to my personal LAN IP? If I already using that port for emule, can I open Bitcomet as well at the same time? No?

Hi, you're welcome.

1. If you're connected to the Germany server, your IP address will be a Germany's IP address hence Google will point you to Google.com.de as geographically speaking you will be at an advantage if you are in Germany (that's what their server think so) both in terms of speed and your local language.

2. I'm afraid you can't discuss warez here but I'll try to get someone to PM you if possible.

3. No, you don't have to forward that port

4. A port cannot be used more than one time simultaneously, hence you have to choose which program to open and use that port at a particular time.

Thanks.

Thanks man. Regarding the warez, let's see how. Currently I opened emule at home and now i'm having training outside. When i checked my account ...

3.27 GB 0.75 GB 4.02 / 100.00 GB

rclxub.gif ..it's only up for 12 hours already 3gb blink.gif ..i'm going home soon..let me check my speed and see how rclxms.gif

Based on the current bandwidth used and the time given, your current average download speed is around ~80KB

Glad that you are enjoying your VPN smile.gif
