FEATURES

- Added a new map

- Highway Tampa.

- Added an autosave to kit customisations. After you customise a kit and spawn in with that kit, the customisation will be automatically saved until you change it and spawn in again. Note that you must spawn in with a particular kit for it to be saved.

- Titans will now spawn up to two gunships per side

- Squad Leaders no longer have to resupply to re-equip destroyed drones CHANGES

- Exploit Fix: hardcoded the time limits of Orbital and EMP strikes.

- RDX Shotgun now detonates RDX, Motion Mines, AP Mines with minimum of 2 rounds.

- Ported EU Assault Rifle changes to the Best Buy unlock as well.

- Fixed LMG Left/Right Recoil

- Revised EU Assault Rifle Recoil

- Increased Clark rate of fire to match Herzog

- Fixed PAC shotgun attachment recoil to match other Herzogs

- Further adjustment to Squad Leader drones to prevent them accidentally killing the Squad Leader when deployed

- Further fix to prevent "pod surfing". Note that some pod movement will still be possible and is an intended gameplay mechanic to allow the player to have some small choice of landing site and to access rooftops

- Smoke from the CM3-N Radar Grenade deploys more quickly. The Radar range has been slightly increased and endures for the duration of the smoke effect.

- The CM3-N Radar Grenade may now be resupplied.

- The screening effectiveness of all smoke grenades has been significantly improved.

- Adjusted Talon heat source position to improve Gunship missile balance.

- Beta Feedback: Fixed the placement of an AA gun on Highway Tampa

- Beta Feedback: Improved the visuals of the swimming pool on Highway Tampa

guys... i did download the 1.40 beta patch before....

and with this new official patch the file size remain the same...

meaning that it is actually same file as previous? then can we use the 'beta' patch? since it about 400mb to download... waste of resources

Wow...the Clark shotgun buff gives it so many reasons to be used now.

I was able to go on a 11 kill spree alone with it ! That's how good it is now !

The thing that i hate after the patch is when you jump of the plane...you cant move the pod anymore..ahh.

Any1 notice the lag is more significant after 1.4?

but there are a few stuff that is kinda diff..
is it just me or krylov doesnt shoot the same as it was before..

krylov not as smooth as voss..dunno why, same like clark shotgun.

question: has anyone noticed some weird things in titan mode?
one time i was playing, the missiles impacted enemy shields until 0%, but there is still a shield preventing us from boarding their titan.

also, just played a map where we held ALL the titan missile silos but our titan was the one taking MASSIVE damage until meletup!!

yeah its a bug...
on titan mode even though the shield should be down and the missiles are hurting the titan hull.. the opponent team cannot go into the titan as the shield is still up, despite the shield should be down..
theres this one time someone in a game when i played poded onto the enemy titan and land but the pod didnt open up.. despite being shot at and stuff like that.. till he asked somebody to RDX him..

i was told somewhere i dont remember where.. that patch 1.4 is the last patch for bf2142 so after this.. EA doesnt really wanna give a crap about the game nemore..

but mine was a voss and in rocket mode it was a krylov..
and as soon as i use the rocket, it crashes..

so wait. they bug up the stupid game with 1.4, such that titan mode has become rather unplayable, and they gonna stop fixing these problems?

My case lagi sad....i cannot go in thru the vent...if i do..all my screen become black and i'm totally blind inside...i cant see anything except my rifle...

this is not cause by patch... maybe the game file corrupted... same problem with my home pc

then.... ask all servers to go back to 1.25? since no bug reported except podflyers

no bug that i know of that cripple the game experience

mine went completely green the other day. I reset my resolution and tried to force a reoptimization of my graphics elements. that worked.

hopefully they dont abandon 2142 with THIS as the last update, i know 2142 is not as popular now that orange box and quake wars are dividing people's time, but i would very much enjoy to get in another game of this every once in a while without gameplay problems.
