Hello all pc mod lover....
Wanna share with u all my new worklog (Upside Down ICute 0408SL)
This ICute casing belong to my friend, he ask me mod his case become BTX style...


Objectives
- make the casing look like BTX (upside down mobo)
- provide sufficient cooling
- light it up but not too much

MOD(s) :
Airflow and cooling mod(s)
- put 2x80mm fan as exhaust fan on the top of casing
- put 120mm fan as exhaust fan at the rear of casing

Aesthetic mod(s)
- add a pair of normal CCLF

Major Mod(s)
- transform the case from ATX look to BTX look
- make new acyric window
- repaint the case

Original case look like this:

Managed unasamble everything, remove mobo tray, rear plat, top and front cover.... also removed lot of dust...





continue tomorrow....

Top window designed.... just normal one square with curve corner...

Done paint withe black paint...

put all together....

The front big fran is clip-on lah...

What is the benefit to make it upside down?

I think it will be more cooler.

Other than that,the side panel will be on the left side..

first glance i thought it wuz btx mod but.. what differ this mod with btx mod.. huh..

Don't get me wrong, i disassable everything, mobo tray, back plate, top plate, not just up side down the case...

if u see the case, material of top and bottom of the case are diff type material, so cant just up side down the case..





nowadays, vga produce more heat compare to proc, so it placed at top of the proc and near to top window, and at the top window got fan and suck all heat out from case...

and for proc heat, it sucked by rear fan...
