Hi to all Edifier users. Recently, I plan to get a speaker for my laptop (Dell Inspiron 6400). So I would like to get Edifier compared to other brands due to its performance and reliability. So I hope to get some guidance from you.
My usage is more on listening to musics, watching movie and some games. So i would like expect some decent bass from the speaker. Among the speakers that are in my mind are :

1) Edifier e3300/e3350
2) Edifier e1100
3) Edifier MP300 (Can be used on my iPod as well + mobility + unique design) - my first choice
4) Any edifier M series

Can you guys drop me some opinion about the pros and cons as well as the price?

im using dell inspiron 6400 too...

i bought edifier M1300 before, i tot it was the best cheap speaker..
but after that i bought sonic gear Evo7, RM135, with the same price u can get sound super nice.

if can add abit... get altec lansing atp3, RM165.... woofer super keng ...

i would suggest you get e3300 , lots better if you can get m3300 . i've got a sonicgear bluethunder 3 and my friend got an evo7. we always heard hissing sound when leave it open a little longer

i would suggest MP300 since you are using laptop..
somemore MP300 got the E.I.D.C which can automatically reduce the frequency from input overload..

If MP300 vs E3300, how is the price for both of them? And the performance wise?

if portability is not your priority,always always go for the normal sized speaker (E3100,M3300,budget a bit then M1310),portables just dont reflect the price/performance ratio Edifier is known for.if portability is so important,sometimes i would rather recommend decent earphone than speakers (KSC75?? )

that is my advise as a person that loves listening good sound and showing the various options available than a salesman

If i were you I'll just get a normal headphone
because ur laptop not 24 hour indoor rite...

i recommend u get the s2.1M , u won't regret buying that....
in wise of quality is nice in every aspects esp music.

But of course another good decent soundcard will enhance the sound performance. I know u are using a lappy, but there are also some sound cards like the audigy also got for lappy 's

If u really deep into finding a decent speakers u need to spend a little much. As ppl said "different value different product" (cantonese). And then its very hard for u to just see reviews and asking ppl for good speakers, normally ITS YOU yourself to really hear the speaker oni u buy. Different ppl different feeling marr .... Mana tau after we recommend u this speaker
then u say that wan so sucky, then flame war come again lorr.....

2. Is portability important???

Outdoor use more than indoor?
For indoor suggest you get a S2.1m

E3100--->M3300--->C2--->C3--->S2.1M

haha, my budget is less than RM300. Portability is not necessary but would be and advantage. ^ I live near Ipoh Jaya Timur but currently studying in Cyberjaya

Then i think the C3 will not disapointed u cause it come with the wireless remote, EIDC, External amp, 2 way sat with built in crossover, 8" woofer and etc.

since you got an iPod,why not the IF330?sounds good to me for a portable.or else,within RM300,i vote for M3300 or a little bit smaller would be E3100.both are good in music

in your lists, number 4 will be my choice.
i have an M3300 and MP300.
M3300 is best-bang-for-bucks while MP300 is pure for mobile purpose...

im also using laptop, that's y i get an MP300 last year.
however, i decided to use it as secondary speaker cause i need a bigger speaker when im not mobile.

under 300, would be wise to get Mseries.
but for C series. not sure, i only tried C1 and C2.
neither interest me... (maybe because pricetag)



for this one, MP300 is the 1st NO-NO.
it only has 2inch bandpass sub and u cant expect much from it....

apart from M3300, i strongly recommend E3100 too...
say if u have better budget, better speakers waiting
