Full Version: help me. OC fault

My rig is
Abit IP 35 E
p4 2.8 520
1gb value ram 666mhz

the problem is, i must lower my ram freq to 666 from 800 so i have to underclock the fsb. if the ram is cloked at 800 my download will always corrupt.

I don't know what to do. Pls help me. the benchmark is always fail.

That's probably a bug.. you can't possibly be running at 200 MHz lol smile.gif What does CPU-Z say ? smile.gif

cpu z report that i'm running at 3.4. but i can't benchmark using lavalys.

try to post the pics of your cpu-z, the ram speed, the proc speed etc2...
what vcore, vdimm used, wht fsb etc2.....

Get the latest CPU-Z and print screen it.
get the vcore,vdimm form ur averest sensor.

now how can my windows report say that i'm running 1.51 Ghz. The more I oc the more it goes down

errr. i think i know what happen but i'm not sure. It might be my RAM which i set it to default (mainboard default) at 800 MHz even it's only rated 667 and value ram. My ram could be faulty already. But i test for 20 minute with memtest and no error found ?

Which memtest did u use?
Memtest86 or Windows Memtest?

Mate, you don't have to use floppy lar.

CD-rom also can. laugh.gif

Download this file: http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.3.iso.zip
Find a blank CD-R, extract the file u've just downloaded to the desktop, use the ISO file to burn it to a CD, restart windows, set your bios to boot from CD, then just follow the instruction to do memtest.

ok i load the memtest from ubuntu live cd. after runniong one hour, no error was detected. i'm gonna reinstall back the windows and c what will happen
