Are you guys seriously going to kick people from this future server because they are not MBT and non-paying?

That is horribly discriminatory. As I am not MBT and probably the only person of CERT clan thats paying for this server slot, I can't help feeling I would be the odd man out playing on this server. Chances are, I would find myself ALWAYs going against MBT and always be among non paying guys who are likely to be kicked at your whims and fancies. If you can kick people out, whats stopping you to change the side I am playing as, right?

I hope you would consider this move thoughtfully and put yourselves in the shoes of other 2142 players that are not clan & people that are 1st time 2142 players. In short keep the format as it is, the only advantage should be between VIP and nonVIP. Not: VIP + MBT against non paying public.

If you you want to kick pod surfers, spawn campers, hackers even base rapist I can understand. And people don't care if they get kick by non-human anonymous server (because of slot number) but knowing you are being kicked by a group of human because you are not member of their group can make people feel hated. You may say its the rules or people should have read the fine print, but you can't make feel or being discriminated against go away.

Keep a level head on this. Not because some other server in Australia impose such rule, we in malaysia have to emulate it. The worse that could happen if people start seeing this as a racial thing or malaysia vs singapore. I know its not meant to be such, but thats how far and personal I think people on the receiving end of this kicking rule could take.

People that get kicked will think : Besides you are not the only server out there.

Knowing that being in this server people will have more chances at being kicked would discourage people coming in.

Agrees. by doing so, you guys would be losing the chances to see the new people in malaysia and make the server empty whenever the VIP is not on9. just let it be like normal so i think it probably going to be okay.

Please understand wat is greasemonkey n mousey triying to say:
1) any foul n sarcastic will given 3 times warning. afterthat, repeat the same offense again... u will been kicked out from the server.... learn to respect and behave yourself when u in the server.
2) mousey is tellin that non-vip should be alert that they will kicked out of the server to way for vip earlier ( such at time of loading like that).
3) this is my opinion, i really hate any basing rapping or spawning. is this the way how to treat me who is paying for the server by killing in base rapping or spwaning camping. i think not. to freeloader, i paying the server. so, please respect for who is those paying server for both enjoyment. kinda piss off, since lately someone and some group abusing the server rules lackness by raping us in the camp. i don give a damn, if u the best in asia or what. but respect us as vip ( who is paying the server and have so mercy on us). if not, u are not wellcome to our server.

summore those who bought d vip seats r not all from MBT.. im not from MBT but i reserve a seat for myself too

and if a vip enter d server those who r not in d vip list have to give way to them.. n i believe if there is increasing vip list, they will try to expand d number of players to 48 or 64


if u want to blame this system u have to blame on fragnetics i guess..

since ur new...EA BF2142 also has its own reserve slot system...
do understand tho that fragnetics reserve slot system works better than EA, which kicks non-VIP randomly.
MBT server is free to use EA's own reserve slot system where the LAST non-VIP player will be kicked if a VIP joins.
imagine joining an almost full server, then just waiting for your turn to get kicked

and i can understand what abu.umar says...which is also how i interpret it...
that anyone not VIP or friends of MBT will be kicked to make way for friends.

i will ensure that the server will be fun for all, (by kicking off stat padders, tk'ers etc2 ) and try my best to make everyone happy.

hope you wont make it such a big issue base on something that is not true. server rules are still in discussion and you are welcomed to join the discussion.

Yes you did reply to Mousey66. But that was regarding his insistence on getting some respect for people coming in to the server, which you did point out that gaining it much more prefferable rather than demanding it. But you did not comment anything about the kicking policy that mousey proposed. I was concerned, if I didn't pay for the server I wouldn't bother. I think if I'd wait for final say it would have been too late being that its is MBTs server and the only discussion was inside your clans forum which people have to register to post.

Thank you for clearing things up, Gestapo. I was on the verge of either asking my money back or joinning MBT there. Whew!

Abu.Umar not everything that is said in that discussion thread will be implemented.. We know that you are a paying member of the server and you do have a say on what should and shouldnt be in the rule for the new server session.. That is why gestapo post with bold and huge font saying it is to discuss there.. Dont worry i wouldnt want anything stupid to be done on the server... I know too how frustrating if a paying customer is being cheated and so on.. Dont worry vips will not be kicked or moved... so far abu.umar have u been kicked before? The admins have not done those things before why would u think they will in the future.. greasemonkey n mousey are only saying what they think.. It is by the way a discussion thread..

I dont think so.. coz ur just paying for the reserved slot so that if the server is full you still can join it, that is all.. you are not paying so that no one can base rape or spawn rape you. Im not saying this coz i am a big shot or "all that", i too have been a victim of countless base raping and spawn raping.. you just have to fight it out, everyone will/have gone through it..
