seriously ppl, u noe those T3, Stuff, techno gadgets magazine..all recommend IPODS..hmmmph..
tho no doubt they sounded good, but not excellent if comapred with other competitors..
Samsung player really produce great sound quality, I would say better than Ipods..tho i would say ipod sounded a bit natural, while samsung a bit enhanced.
Meizu player got lotsa good ratings, looking forward to compare it with Iriver..
Creative players are also good, good but not impressive yet
Sony artificial sounding as typical with sony products..have n tested the recent models tho..
n lastly, Iriver is still the most natural best sounding with good internal amp, IMHO ...no doubt about it, cant find any players that can beat it or at least match it..
perhaps cowon or archos..(never heard before, wonder where can test it..rare items)

i am using nw-e005f. i believe that both are same in term in sound quality. i recommend you buy it cause the battery last long for continuous playback. but at lowyat now the player don't have stock anymore.

i'm not iriver fan, just so far i couldnt find any other brand mp3 player that can give superb sound quality as iriver..
but sony's battery life really attractive, and the sound quality also good too..
IPOD?..i'm really concern about the sound quality, thats why until now, IPOD never in my list..as for me, mp3 player is all about the sound quality, the other features like video, picture viewer, big capacity, nice looking are just bonus to it..

Hei i noticed that the Cowon iAudio D2 seems like a very good DAP when it comes to music output. it also supports a wide array of formats such as # Audio: MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, FLAC, APE, WAV, AAC (only on older firmware versions).
Does anyone know where i can buy this in Malaysia ? Or Singapore ?

My housemate is using the K5. Very good battery life, can easily last more than 20 hours if listen to earphone. nice touch pad as well. Speaker can last 5 hours if I'm not mistaken.
The problem with this model is that is is quite expensive and little bit bulky

Well the K3 is pretty good... got a 2nd hand t9 for RM410 plus postage... a little scratched the scratch but i'm sure one of u guys can advice me on how to rub off the scratches.
If the K3 is built like the K5 u got one hell of a durable mp3 player... i saw the video of a K5 while playing some tunes... put face with the speaker open (u can hear playing loudly with the car noises) n a car driving over n backing up on the spin/hinge of the K5 n its speaker.
It was still playing the hinge is still in perfect working condition... couldnt see if there was any scratches though....

Ipod Video 30GB the usual price is RM1099. Refer Machinesdotcomdotmy they got a little bit deal this month.
Best price RM899 somewhere in S&M near kotaraya if I'm not mistaken. But if I really want to buy something that expensive. I just buy from "Apple Premium Reseller" , be join "Machines" membership and could buy Apple product with special price...Maybe...
If you are talking about same price RM1099 you could get a Sony NW-A808 (8GB). "Sonystyle KLCC"
I don't think Portable Video Player should be under 10GB unless it got Expandable memory. For Audio yeah its enough. But Sony do deliever quality product. I love those PSP LCD screen.
BTW Ipod No FM Built-In/Battery Issue. Apple Ipod Radio Remote cost u RM229
Other Brand worth for me to mentioned is "Samsung, SanDisk".

btw i didnt list k3.. rofl. k3's too expensive for me. i just want somethng which plays music with good sq... btw theres a philips player about the price of yp-u3 , but plays mp4 as well... philips player good or not?

Ive choose lithium over 3A battery (the small one) I think lithium has better playtime. 3A rechargable battery has small drain, highest drain afaik is 1000mha, compare to 2A can exceed 2500mha and alot cheaper. If the player equip/ using 2A battery size, that is a wiser choices. But I'll avoid player that using 3A batteries
YP U2 also nice, simple design, superb parametric eq for better sq. For YP U3 design looks like cheap plastic build I dont like it, I'll go YP U2+stylish for masculine.
