Well, lets face it.... everyone wants to see and hear about the new upcoming Motorola V9 "LaZr" Linux phone.... so most of the photos and information are going to concentrate on it.

At 4.2 ounces its all metal construction and large 320 X 240 External LCD beef it up almost a full ounce above the old V3 RaZr...

user posted image
Construction and materials are "Vertu Like" on this device.... from the superbly finished metal keypad.... notice the space around the keypad and frame?? Tight, flush, and uniform...

user posted image
The hinge for the flip is "HUGE" and beautifully Chromed....

user posted image
The back of my device is "rubberized metal" and is the most "proto-like" aspect of the phone.

user posted image
The right side of the Motorola V9 is typtical Motorola Flip design... notice the "metal keys"??? These aren't plastic guys with a chromed finish... but real aluminum keys...

user posted image
The V9's large LCD and highly polished metal finish are very reflective....

user posted image
The large External LCD is also "Touch Sensitive" in this device..

user posted image
"Touch Sensitive" it conveys information such as a failed email download which you can then acknowledge and close without opening the phone....

user posted image

user posted image
At the bottom of the device you see the two "Speaker Grills" that could easily be from the Newest Ferrari Super Car.... that sleek and beautifully designed.....

My Proto is the "intenal memory only" model and at 512mb with approximately 470mb available to use for storage you can expect it to be the thinnest model while the Micro-SD supported model will have to be a bit thicker at some part of the phone....

its juz like K1 tai ko(big bro)..

the external screen is juz stunning... OMG.~!!

Nice! I can see some improvement in the GUI a little. This would be the best seller phone by Motorola and the K1 as well. Both have a very classic, trendy, and expensive look.

Added on May 11, 2007, 11:28 pm...one more thing, is the metal stainless steel?
youngkies
design is impressive.

but that flat keypad doesnt look matching the phone.

I think it matched perfectly, it's a thin factor phone and everything has to be thin and not bold out. (IMO)

my god
very stylish look
erm.. the external screen is touch sensitive
what does it mean?
schizophrenic
definitely best motorola phone but.....as for the touch sensitive screen.....wouldnt it be a problem in the pocket?

or ...under long exposure of pressure...wouldnt it shorten the lifespan of the touchscreen?

eg....sitting down and putting pressure at your pants with your phone in it.

best eg: jeans.

With an external screen of that size, you can use video calls with the flip closed.

But my million dollar question is: Will typing an SMS take up 5 minutes of my time again?
StratOS
the official specs wont be out yet.. but i can say it does support 3g coz the external screen and camera is there already.. tongue.gif

since latest model the smsing no lags oredy.. so far with my e1000 and e2 all no problemo.. ahaha.. e6 i tried also no prob, v3xx also no prob..
