the problem is amavant using torrentflux/bittornado(python) based, bittornado isn't support DHT network, so like ur cases the torrent ur trying to download the tracker isn't available or not alive anymore.. since bittornado isn't support find/announce peers from DHT, that's the reason ur stucked on the red light.

I think Amavant should provide documentation for new user (how to download and etc..etc). Just my opinion.

Using HTTP, you can browse your downloaded file from your Amavant Torspace directory

For example (your filename is):
[GR-ost]Ghost_in_the_Shell-Stand_Alone_Complex_OST+.rar

Then open blank tab (I'm assuming u are using Opera or Mozilla) paste this:
http://amavant.net/torspace/dl/yourusername/[GR-ost]Ghost_in_the_Shell-Stand_Alone_Complex_OST+.rar

You could download it using browser or FlashGet. Just paste the link into your FlashGet 'Add New Download'. For FTP, you could use FileZilla. You could adjust your download setting in 'Site Manager' ---> Transfer Setting' for simultaneous connection.

Well, normally I would download from TokyoTosho or Baka-Updates, for anime stuff. I think 'Connecting at Peers' problem occurs if there's less seeded .torrent files. But it work well anyway using Amavant Torspace.

Torspace users are adviced to stop your torrent activities before the mentioned maintenance time. The maintenance window would be around 15 minutes to 30 minutes. I uploaded a torrent which total 6.79gb contains 70 files , but i choose total file of 700mb , but why the system shown that is it 2047mb and i hv not enuf space...

if read ur actual torrentfile, not by quota so u can download torrent that below 2047mb

nope it wont works as far as i know, what ever stuff u dl..it must not over 2gb in total example u can only have

IT WORKS WHEN
Torrent A =1gb
Torrent B =400mb
Torrent C =600mb

or

Torrent A = 1900mb
Torrent B = 300mb (this torrent wont work unless you deleted the torrent A)

only Total...2gb
the total of size u can download at the same time is 2gb and (max is only 4 file to download) , when its over 2gb u need to delete those old files that you downloaded to your pc

The total size of the torrent cannot exceed your own total remaining size

If you upload a torrent (6.79gig) contains 70 files, and even when you select total 700mb files from that torrent, the system would detect that you want to download those 6.79gig files.

As far as I know, you're unable to do selective torrent task in Amavant. All you could do is to find a single torrent file (for those 700mb files). Hope this help you.

Erm, for info , i did select some files , for eg. A torrent contain 1gb total of files , i managed to choose those files i want to download , and its ard 600mb. Hmm...so means that a torrent that i upload cannot exceed 4GB, is that correct?

Yup, the main torrent file should be no more than your storage 4gig.

Somehow I missed the 'transfer to your machine' part. Lost quite some stuff. Even stuff that took me 2 days waiting for it to download.

Oh well I'll just have to start all over again then.

Your files had to be deleted as the new version uses a different quota method.

i found "lost+found" folder in my ftp but can't access it

That folder is OS related and you wont be able to access it. It will only be used if our server have power failure and the recovered files of your folder later on will be placed there.

Even though I can download torrent and upload it in Amavant, it seems that I'm unable to get torrent from URL. Error:

"Content returned from http://www.***.com/download.php?id=2194&am...t_files.torrent does not appear to be a valid torrent.
Set debuglevel > 2 in 'Admin, Webapps' to see the content returned from http://www.***.com/download.php?id=2194&am...s.torrent"

New version cannot select upload slots and upload speed? Some torrents seem to work faster with some upload...
