seems that you have 15 concurrent connections already. Try closing your ftp client and opening it back again

oh this problem fixed..my fault..dint know that it was set too much sorry

but

there is problem with the file i cant remove the torrent and its keep downloading even though the file is not in the server anymore and the torrent could not be stopped, and new torrents all were added as queue like viper

PS: please check support@amavant.net i have sent mail there earlier

alright. tried FTP back home. my conclusion, connection is SLOW. However that is where multiple connection comes in handy. a mere 15 connection already enables me to download around 70kb/s. And that is enough as I share my streamyx with 4 other computer. More connection will probably easily get to 110kb/s.

My final score for your service: 6.5/10.

-2.5 score for slow speed. 4-5kb/s on a single connection? ouch... Although I can use multiple connection on FTP, on HTTP it's not allowed. And HTTP is where it is most important as I use this service mainly because my university blocks torrent and sadly enough for me they also blocks FTP.

-1 because of the script. I see torrentflux is at Ver. 2. However it still have a lot of flaws and need a lot of improvement. I know its not your fault, but still need to be considered as a whole.

an idea: any referral point system? I mean if you can introduce as many participants, that way maybe it could allow justification to increase the references ... download slots or space size? just a thought.

Can we delete files through FTP? Because I've download some stuff with Japanese alphabets in them. The torrent all works fine and I was able to download it to my computer. But now I have problems deleting them. I figured since I can download it off FTP, I can delete them as well. But just now I tried, I got 'Permisson Denied' and for sure TorrentFlux can't handle those files.

go my directory > select the file (folder) you wanna delete with those weird characters> check the [] box > and delete it from the [x] next to the word multiple delete.

To improve server performance, the standard python client is rather resource intensive, especially when you have lots of torrents running at the same time, I find transmission to be the best performing, whereas azureus the most resource friendly (Only when you're running mass torrents, others transmission works better).

Not if you're running them enmasse, java is more more memory hungry on single torrents but at least it only spawns one process, bitshadow spawns 1 process per download and overall, consumes more resources than azuereus with the same amount of torrents.

Just an update from my university connection. An average of 500~600kb/s with 30 connection. Very² nice~!

EDIT > err.. now I'm facing a problem. I downloaded two files fine. But on the third one I got '400 Bad Request'. I thought it was that single file, but even if I tried with other files, I still get the same result. What's wrong?

EDIT 2 > Got it solved. Seems like HTTP download don't like space. Once I changed the space with %20, it works fine. Very weird though...
