Restart the service. This is a typical php error where php thought that you have already sent, or may did send by other processes. At the same time, this error can be caused by a white space issues in the code. Best is to restart and try again.

Might be due to improper escaping of the filename, does your filename have weird chars in it? You just might have to contact to the ascii to remove it

on the delete, i cant delete via ftp, only can delete in torrentflux

there's cookie management in profile setting and after i set it up now i can download torrent from some of the private tracker
i only tested it with 2 local tracker:
www.mytforum.net : working
torrent.jiwang.cc : not working

hello there, i had problem downloading torrents that much bigger than the given 2GB quota, but that is not the problem, let say i want to download a bundle TV series that pack in one .torrent file say 5.4GB, but i only wants to download only the 2 episodes which around 700MB, so i just select the files that i want the flux to download, and after i click start, then some error like this show's up in the screen:

"QUOTA: The file size for this torrent is 2047 MB. Currently, you have 1951 MB left.
You have used 49 MB out of your 2000 MB quota.Your diskspace is not sufficient to start this torrent."

but the original file size is 5.4GB, but the parts i want to download is only 700MB..and i checked that the free space is enough to support that 700MB

Added on May 6, 2007, 9:48 pmi had to say so far this service rocks!, i just hit almost 500KB with it, i'm going to try download from private tracker soon...

Unfortunately, currently there is no way around it as the quota system automatically grabs the total size of the torrent file without checking which files are selected in the torrent itself. The only way is to download the torrent one by one or get a larger package.

I wonder why I can't upload like above 5kb or the admin will warn me. i've read somewhere that this TF is good to maintan share ratio for private trackers but if I can't upload above 5kb, how to maintain the share ratio? Unless I run the torrent for 1 month. With the max torrent per account is 2, that is kinda sucks.

Yeah I kinda agree with Minority116. The biggest turnoff is tat problem, limiting myself to only 2gb torrent files and I can't afford other package.

I know talking is easier then done, but even some torrent surpass your limit of 6GB. I've seen 11gb torrent before (whole season of drama).

Why is there so many in queue ?

Quota is already set according to user space..


If there are people who are interested with a higher package than what we have advertised, then they can email us with the space quota that they are interested in and we will work something out..Also, the quota we offer will always be on even number package such as 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and so on..

coz there is some one who wants to download more that the torrents which is allowed.
Current limit per user is 2 torrent..so..if you try to download more than 2...the 3rd one and above will be put on queue

Some users are so greedy to queue up so many torrents....

suggestions:

instead using the plain torrentflux, why not try the torrentflux-b4rt version, plus it had:

1. protocol encryption built-in
2. VLC streaming (good for preview)
3. intergrated file manager
4. Transfer statistics and logging
5. Perform stop/start/resume/kill/delete operations on individual transfers, all transfers or a selection of transfers
6. Change settings of running transfers on the fly - down/up rates, what ratio to stop seeding at, how many connections to use at same time.
7. Number of seeders/leechers/etc for a torrent in a graphical display

yea..we know of it.. since it is still not a full version..we cannot go ahead with it..

There's a little bug with the refresh timer.
After you run the torrent, the next refresh time will go into a negative value.

Can we also disable the Offline users list ? It is too long making the need to scroll to reach the torrent listings

Some private trackers require a code to be embedded in the torrent file so try redownloading the torrent from the tracker. Other trackers require cookies to be present so that you appear to be logged in. Best thing in this case it to add the cookies via the Cookie Management interface inside the My Profile section.

How to get Cookie information....

* Cookies => View Cookies
* Locate the site you want to get cookie information from.
* Get the UID and PASS content fields

* General => Settings => View Files

here is my feedback using amavant:

1. Speed is fast, and able to get over 600KB for down/up stream.
2. I don't have to leave my PC/Mac on 24/7 for Bittorrent. Save electrics & earth!
3. really help with my ratio at private tracker torrents.
4. doesn't slow my connections while surfing, i just queue them all later in FTP when i go to sleep.

ok here is what i don't like and it turn me off the most

1. I wish the storage size would be bigger when the services is going to launch.
2. instead using torrentflux, why not try switching to b4rt version.
3. i had problem with the quota, as i replied before. <-- this turn me off the most.
4. The file transfers from FTP/HTTP to PC/Mac is too slow, probably due to TM routing, and allowing simultaneous downloads from HTTP/FTP is a plus.

other than that i would like to thank amavant admin for inviting me, using ur bandwidth,CPU & HDD space, really appreciate it..

We are not switching to the b4rt version now is because the quota system has not been implemented yet. At the moment, that is the only reason why we are holding it

I believe your problem was that you wanted to download x number of file from the overall torrent file as the quota has limitation. At the moment, there are no solutions for it yet as the quota system that we have takes the overall torrent size rather than the size of the file it has in it. The only way is that you can download the torrent 1 by 1

i want to add few more comment,

1. i cant download the same torrent if other user is currently downloading it

e.g. i want tv series a, but user b is currently d loading it, got error file already exist.

2. i cant delete file which contain character such as '

Just my feedback, the package should be in reasonable size. For example, 3, 5 and 10. Because a full season tv series usually between 6 - 8gb. so if we go for higher customize storage, that will be more than rm50 a month.

Well TorrentFlux services naturally cost more due to the increased CPU and bandwidth requirements. :/
